We stayed at a 2 bedroom condo at the Dunes for the month of February. Condo was nice and exactly as shown in the virtual tour. Condo amenities were basic - nothing fancy, but included pretty well all we needed. Carpet and sofa could use some updating. View from balcony was spectacular - full view of Gulf, beach and pool. The staff were amazing and friendly and quick to follow up with any issues. There was a fitness center - 2 rooms with a treadmill in each and a bicycle in one and a stairclimber and weight machine in the other - not very busy. Beach was fantastic - great for walking on and if you were lucky you could see the dolphins. We really enjoyed our stay and have already booked again for next year,

Excellent short notice stay!

My family and I learned that we were going to Gulf Shores for a World Series softball tournament for my 10 year old daughter on July 7th. I wasn't having any luck in finding a decent hotel when I decided to look at renting a condo. I found one on July 11th at the Indies that was available from the 19th-24th. I made a phone call and had the reservation made. My stay was wonderful. The majority of the team was able to stay at the Indies as well. This made for a great stay for the girls. During their downtime between games they were able to hang out together at the beach and in the pool. I will definately be booking with the Indies or Dunes in the future! Thank you Tara and Katie! They were great and very attentive to our needs.

Okay but not great

The place is just okay, we are a group of middle aged women who travel together twice a year to the Gulf on vacation, we were disappointed that the condo just was not clean. The carpet was so dirty, we cleaned it. We also dusted the entire place and wiped down the furniture. The air conditioning went out, the guy did come over and fix it right away, but it just wasn't what we expected. Might be okay for a family. We expected more.

Unfortunatley my daughter became ill the week before going on our trip. The people we made the reservation with were very nice and understanding and even offered to let me make another reservation within 12 months. Fortunatley, I purchased the trip insurance and was able to make a claim and received our money back! I wouldn't hesitate to vacation again here!

Great Stay

Great place to stay...very secluded...loved the condo and the view from the balcany. The only complaint was the noise coming from the pool motor washed out the sound of the ocean from the condo's balcany. The motor needs to be enclosed to reduce the sound pollution.

Great place for a vacation

As always you can't go wrong with Fort Morgan. That is if you want a peaceful vacation. For three years I have stayed at the Indies and have had no complaints. This year our room was clean as always. The only faults I had was the bed was not comfortable compared to others. The water pressure on the shower was not that strong. And last but not least, I could not find the TV remote to save me. I didn't care. I was on vacation. If I ever go to Gulf Shores I'm going to Fort Morgan and picking the Indies.

Condo was clean and well equipped with everything needed. The resort was well maintained. The children enjoyed the beach and the pools, wish we could have stayed longer.

We were very pleased with the condo. It was great until we had a situation with our poodle. It pretty much put an end to our vacation, as far as going anywhere. Becky at sunset was very kind and tried to help us out. They definetely need to change the pet policy

We stayed in condo 102 and loved it. It was the perfect spot for two small children right by the pool. The golf cart made our daily trips to the beach not only easy but lots of fun for the kids. The condo was great, clean and so convenient it could not have been better. Will visit again soon

Nice place for family

We went down with the kids and grandparents. Everyone had a great time. The rooms were nice and clean. Distance to the beach was perfect--short walk. Wireless internet should have been included. Had to pay $15 and only worked 2 days out of the 5 days we'd stayed. Also, needed more towels--condo slept 8, but only had 6 towels. Overall, nice place to stay. Will definitely come back here.
