Description of the Fort Morgan vacation home rental
The house is decorated in Island Style with beautiful, cheerful, tropical colors to lift your spirits. There are natural pine plank floors, ceiling fans throughout, stainless steel appliances and 2 sets of sliding glass doors on the back leading to the back deck facing the ocean.
There is a large covered deck across the front of the house with a gorgeous unobstructed view of Mobile Bay. Table and chairs are arranged on the deck making it perfect for drinking your coffee or watching the sun set.
"The views are all incredible". You will be seeing water from every window and doorway in this house. Walk through the back yard to the beach and walk a few yards through the front yard to the Bay.
Your inside laundry room is located off the kitchen on the main level. Large capacity washer.
One of the bedrooms offers an office area with a desk and copy machine.
There are 2 flat screen TVs, free high speed WIFI and a land line phone with free long distance.
A bath is located on ground level and is convenient after coming in from the Beach or Bay. It has a hot and cold private enclosed shower area and a separate private toilet.
There is a concrete parking pad under the house for 2 vehicles and an area to park a boat trailer or a Sea Doo.
Motion detector lights are positioned to light your paths to both sets of steps leading to the front and back doorways.
This home has a lovely natural landscape with sand dunes, shells, and natural foliage all surrounding.

Area Information
You feel as though you are on an Island with water surrounding you.
The drive out to this area is so beautiful that it is hard to describe. You see the Bon Secour nature reserve, the bay on 1 side and the ocean on the other side.
Having cranes and other tropical birds walk up to you on the beach is peaceful as you watch the dolphins play in the ocean.
A ferry boat at the end of Fort Morgan can take you and your vehicle to Dauphine Island and the Sea Lab. Take a tour of Old Fort Morgan from the Civil War and visit the State Park.
There is a seafood restaurant, an American cuisine restaurant, pizza and Tacky Jacks locals restaurant and bar.
The 4 restaurants, 3 convenience stores, seafood market and gas station on the Peninsula are quite convenient.
You are in a beautiful secluded area but only a few miles to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach happenings like concerts,water parks, The Track and miniature golf.
In this family oriented area there are plenty of things to do to keep everyone busy from the kids to the golfer.
We enjoy the natural beauty of this area with no high rise buildings obstructing our view.

2-Water View!

Great get-away with daughter, sil and infant granddaughter - well appointed home with all the amenities. Tastefully decorated and comfortable with generous rooms for cooking, eating, sleeping and best of all - relaxing! Especially wonderful? The two decks! Two decks for wonderful views of the bay and the gulf...and the incredible white sand...and the sunsets...a wonderful get-away for this rain-weary north westerner!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom accessories. We filled the home with 6 of us and had a great stay. Affordable and we wished we could have stayed another week.

Swimming in the Ocean!

My husband and 3 grandchildren had a great time at Island Dream. Swimming in the golf was the highlight. No jellyfish, collected shells, and mantarays swam by often with thier young. A beautiful, low traffic area. The location was perfect to get away yet explore local points of interest. Loved it! The beach house was comfortable for all five and had plenty of needed tools to make meals if wanted. Next time we would bring a canopy and beach chairs to settle in at the beach for longer periods. Island Dream is situated perfectly to enable visitors to enjoy both the beaches on the Gulf and bay with a short walk. The views from both decks are wonderful and no better spot to sit with a glass of wine and experience the famous Ft. Morgan sunset.
