Fort Myers Beach occupies all of what is known as Estero Island, just 10 miles from both downtown Fort Myers and the Southwest Florida International Airport. The island s south side faces the Gulf of Mexico and has miles of beaches. However, the best beach in the area is on Lover s Key in the state park on the island. This is an excellent place if you are at all interested in nature as there are many birds living in the mangrove forests here. This also happens to be a great spot for shelling. The Estero Bay side of the island is best viewed by boat or kayak, either of which may be rented in the area. There are many uninhabited keys within the bay that play host to hundreds of different species of birds, plants and mammals. If you are interested in fishing you can simply cast a line from the piers and docks here in Fort Myers Beach or you can arrange a charter fishing guide to help you land the big one. If you are interested in seeing the coastline a bit more some popular day trips include Sanibel and Captiva Islands to the north or Naples to the south. The shopping and dining scene on Fort Myers Beach is excellent. There are many shopping plazas along the island from Times Square in the north to Lover s Key in the south. And after a busy day enjoying Estero Island you can watch the sunset in the western sky from your own vacation home in Fort Myers Beach. Island Trivia

Fort Myers Beach: Welcome to the beautiful barrier islands of Fort Myers Beach-Estero Island and San Carlos Island – where the sun shines nearly every day and the average temperature is 74 degrees. Beaches are probably the No.1 attraction, with the turquoise blue to bright green waters of the Gulf of Mexico lapping at the silky, white sands and seashells – for the collector in everyone. Called the “world’s safest beach”, it’s an ideal site for family vacations, for there are no steep drop-offs, riptides or undertows.
Everywhere you go, wildlife is abundant. Shore birds such as egrets, pelicans, spoonbills, seagulls and herons are found near every body of water, from the gulf to the back bay. Sometimes, even the bald eagle can be spotted soaring over our islands. Fishing and boating are popular pastimes for residents and visitors alike – there are even restaurants you can get to by boat for lunch on (or near) the high seas. Yes, the comforts of civilization are evident as well. The multitude of fine restaurants provide palate-tempting menus for every meal of the day.
Fine shops with their unique souvenirs, gifts and apparel offer delights for every taste and budget – and all are staffed with friendly, enthusiastic help ready to answer your queries.

Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Fort Myers Beach, Florida
Awesome Vacation, November 17, 2008 We were delighted with our rental experience last March. We are interested in the two week period noted above.
Please let us know if this is OK.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Matt & Susie Dowling
Just a quick thank you following our week in your condo at the Estero Beach and Tennis Club. The place was great and, no doubt thanks to Angela, spotlessly clean and welcoming.
Our arrival coincided with what was described locally as a 'cold snap'. To us in the north of the UK, and no doubt even more so in Minnesota, this was a strange description since the temperature was in the 70s each day! The bonus for the relatively cool mornings was the clarity of the air which made the condo views even more spectacular than ever.
The variety and proliferation of the wild life - especially in the slough - was an added bonus somewhat undersold in your description of the property. By chance I happened to have my binoculars with me which was extremely fortuitous and I would recommend either a pair is kept in the condo or you advise clients that they might find them useful - watching the dolphins in the shallows was wonderful.
I noted the rain pouring down on the Tamps Bay Buccannears last night and that the shuttle was diverted to California because of poor weather in Florda but we certainly would consider another trip there next November so we hope to be in touch!
Kind regards
Gordon and Barbara Wealleans
We returned home this past Monday from our 6/15-6/22 stay at your Ft. Myers Beach condo. We had a WONDERFUL time, and really enjoyed the condo. Thank you so much! We would love to do this again in the future.
Thanks again!
Heidi
Just want to thank you for the rental of your condo 1101C Estero Beach in Fort Myers. We had a wonderful 10 days and really appreciate being able to rent for more than the one week. My husband played in the Roy Hobbs World Series and even though we had to drive into Fort Myers for the games it was well worth it to return to the beach each night.
We enjoyed the sandsculptures while we were there as well as beautiful sunsets and even found the beach one day at low tide full of sand dollars. The weather was warm and sunny and being in the condo made the time away from home easier - we ate most of our meals there.
We hope to return in the future for the baseball tournament and will be sure to contact you as to the availability of your properties.
Thanks again!!!

I've had a really busy week coming back from vacation, otherwise I would have emailed sooner.
I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at your condo!! We had perfect weather all week, and we really enjoyed both the sunsets and sunrises. We had breakfast on the balcony everyday and saw the spoonbills several times, even dolphins one day. We may want to book your condo again sometime in the future. I would love to next year, but we probably will be going to Germany then. So we don't know yet what our plans are. Can I stay in touch?
Ute
We are hoping to be able to come back to Ft. Myers Beach again next Jan. We are never sure until around August what will be happening. If we do return I will call you first to see about availability.
Have a great summer - Regards
Linda & Rick Evans
We are home from paradise and wishing we were back there. Your condo was wonderful. Everything you could want was there. It was bright and clean and the view was absolutely perfect.
We look forward to next year. Has the week of March 18 to 25 of next year been reserved? If not, we would like to extend our stay to three weeks instead of two. If it isn't available for next year, keep us in mind for three weeks in 2007. We always go the first three full weeks in March.
We talked friends from Wisconsin into renting a condo at EBT this year. They were in a PH in A bldg. The condo was very dirty. The tub drain was clogged with hair and scum. The VCR did not work. The microwave was an antique. They were not happy with the condo but they liked the EBT over-all. They are coming back next year, but to a different condo. We really felt bad for them because we have had such great luck with our choices of condos.
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your place and can't wait to get back there. By the way, the internet connection worked great. Thanks again.
