You cannot beat this location!

I had a hard time finding a place that would fit us all, (3 grown siblings and kids, plus Gram/Gramps to visit) that was RIGHT on the beach. So no one was stuck down at the water with the kids, while the rest were at the house, and vice versa. We didn't want to haul stuff back and forth, we wanted it to be EASY to enjoy the beach. This was the spot!!! Not only was this located near everything, but it was mere STEPS from the water. Seriously, you walk in the house and gasp! It was VERY clean, and well stocked with what you need to cook, etc. It was in a quiet area of houses when we were there, and the weather was PERFECT each day. TONS of shells, nice walk both ways... seriously, GREAT location! We liked the layout of the house (almost a "duplex" set up, with full kitchen up and downstairs) and we never felt like we were climbing over eachother. We did cook and spend most of our time upstairs, it was just so light and bright up there! ******* There are a few things to mention, but really, this location is so awesome, and the property is priced so fairly, they should hardly be considered. But to be fair: The house is VERY dated. Original windows that might not open, dated tiles, kitchen, etc. (although they decorate it really cute!) and such. The bright sunny deck lacked an umbrella, and had some raised boards that loved to stump little toes. Families with small children should be aware there's a scary spiral staircase you will fight with. I've mentioned these things to theml perhaps on my suggestion the owner will update and fix? They seemed very receptive to our suggestions. Baypointe Mgmt was quick to answer emails, fair with our concerns, and very pleasant to work with. Again, awesome location. Nice house for large families or several couples. You might find yourself having some "McMansion Envy" as you walk along the high-end properties along the beach, but it all goes away when you are mere steps from your place to the water! ps - the sun sets RIGHT out front, and dolphins came daily only a few yards from shore!

Actually Beachfront Palms was booked so we stayed at Beachfront Sands. The home is older but had an incredible sun porch with an expansive view of the Gulf! Had a private walk way to the beach! Nice deck, grill, all the ktichen amenities we needed and even though it was only 2 bedrooms it could sleep at least 8 people comfortably! Really liked the real estate company handling the rental as well! Very courteous and accomodating! Wish I could attach some pics for you as I took quite a few! GREAT!!!
