Description of the Fort Myers Beach vacation home rental

Minimum Age of Adults: 28
Put your worries away and spend the winter 2014 at our beach house in beautiful Ft. Myers Beach, Florida and relax in the heated pool and spa. If you are planning a spring or summer get-away take advantage of the reduced rates at Palmetto Palms. Our beach house is located one block from the beach and has a direct public beach access at the end of the street. It is literally a five minute or less walk to beach access #16, but public parking is also available if you prefer to drive. It has a partial ocean view from the deck.There are two king beds and one queen bed, with a queen sofa couch in the den. It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. If you prefer to relax by the pool, please enjoy our brand new caged heated pool and spa. The entire pool, deck, and approximately 600 square feet of covered/screened outside living area is included in the caged area that includes plenty of seating and tables so that you can relax without any pesky bugs spoiling your precious vacation time. Our house is conveniently located in the middle of the island about a mile from the Publix grocery store and a mile from Santini Plaza and marina, which has several shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream shop, post office, and boat rentals.
Amenities include sun decks on the front and back (east & west views), gas grill, floaties for the pool, sand chairs, beach cart, 2 bikes, ceiling fans in every room, wireless internet access, all bedding, towels, dinnerware and utensils. A full size washer and dryer are included in the house.

Area Information

Ft. Myers Beach has all the amenities and more of a small, fun, safe, and relaxing beach town, yet is close to the shopping, golf, tennis, and restaurants at Ft. Myers, Naples, and Sanibel Island, located within thirty minutes or less from our house. All amentities are located right on the island as you can enjoy shopping and dinner at Times Square with many great restaurants to choose from. There is also nightly entertainment at many of the local favorites. Fishing at the pier is available where you can rent all equipment and don't need to purchase a Florida fishing license.Jet ski rentals and para-sailing is available at our beach access. Beautiful Lovers Key State Park is located across the bridge on the south side of the island, less than three miles.

Nice Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this vacation rental. We didn't have any issues with the rental property during our stay. Just as stated, the beach is across the street from the house and is not crowded with tourists. The house is on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. The house is clean and nicely furnished. The beach cart and beach chairs were great to have at the house. It made getting to the beach quite easy. The heated pool and hot tub were also wonderful features of the house. Being able to control the hot tub with a remote was great! This a perfect place to stay if you want to get away to Ft. Myers Beach to relax and have some fun.

This house was perfect for our family spring break getaway. Even though the weather was a bit cooler early in the week, the hot tub provided a wonderful option to enjoy the Florida sunshine. As the weather warmed up throughout the week, we enjoyed the pool and the beach everyday, which was a very short walk away (2 blocks!). The beach was beautiful, and not crowded at all. The close proximity to the Publix was also very handy. The house was roomy and comfortable. Bob, the owner, was easy to work with and super accommodating. Cynthia, who coordinated entry and house cleaning, was fabulous too! If we return to Ft. Myers Beach, we would definitely rent here again!

clean,bright with a well equipped kitchen. the heated pool was wonderful. being so near the beach we could go for long walks and see the sunsets without having to take our car. the restaurants were 1st class and only a short drive from our rental. We had to adjust to the traffic tie ups at peak times of the day(unavoidable I was told for this time of the year), but all in all we were very pleased with our accommodations.
