The house we rented was quite adequate for the three of us; each with our our bedroom. The living room had the basic furniture that was comfortable and the TV was a good size. The kitchen is equipped with most things we needed; even thougfh there was no can opener nor a broiler pan for the oven. We barbecued often and that worked well. I enjoyed the ice and water on the refrigerator. The pool was in good shape as the "pool man" assured that it was clean, etc.. The water was a little cool, but the screened patio was a great place to relax and read. In the bedrooms, a comfortable chair for quiet and reading would be a good idea. The house was a considerable distance from the beach area so considerable travel was required to get to Sanibel or Fort Myers Beach. However, we found three golf courses in the area and made use of them. The place we rented did not have a lake nearby. There was a small pond behind the house, but it was not a lake. In general, we enjoyed use of the residence and it was in very a very good state of condition and cleanliness.
