Description of the Fort Myers vacation home rental
We have stayed at this mobile home many times, and loved it. When it came up for sale, we bought it!
This place is close to everything. We went down in December and completely updated the place with new linens, paint, and decor. Here are the current pictures and hopefully you will be charmed! .

Our fully-furnished home has one bedroom with two closets, a large bathroom with double sinks, and an updated eat-in kitchen. The double-wide living room is big enough for two couches (one is a comfortable queen-sized hide a bed), and is connected to a bright and sunny screened lanai. There is also a large, open carport and sitting area along one side of the home. No smoking inside.

There is a large, newer gas BBQ grill and a washer and dryer for your use. As of now we do have beach chairs,beach towels, umbrella, cooler, and three bikes for you to use while you visit. We have tried to think of all the things you would need to make your vacation relaxing and fun, from providing shampoo and conditioner to basic kitchen spices. We do charge a 75.00 cleaning fee per stay. We also have a free gift for you when you visit us.
Area Information
We are VERY close to Sanibel/ Captiva Island, Ft. Myers Beach, Lover's Key, and local favorite, Bunche Beach, all without the long drive in traffic during the high season. Our sweet little oasis is tucked away in a quiet cul-du-sac with many palm, mango, pine and papaya trees. It is relaxing, private, and close to everything.

The Gateway bridge to Sanibel Island is 2.8 miles away, Ft. Myers Beach is only 5 miles away, and Bunche Beach(local favorite with all facilities) is 1.5 miles away (easy bike ride). There are miles of warm white sand beaches that are great for shelling and watching the dolphins and rays that swim near the shore. It's 2.8 miles to the boat access and shore fishing. The RSW airport is just 16 miles away, golf courses can be found within 5 miles, and for all you Twins and Red Sox fans, spring training grounds are just 9 miles away at Hammond Stadium and 13 miles for City of Palms Park.

Our park is gated for your security and has two heated pools, a hot tub, shuffleboard court, and WiFi in the clubhouse. There is a great outdoor fresh fruit/vegetable stand across the street from the park as well as ample shopping, bars, and restaurants within 5 minutes of the house.

Other Fees: We are trying to keep our cleaning fees low. We are hoping that you can keep the place clean,dishes put away and linens in a pile, refridgerator cleaned out. Leave it like you found it. Comfortable,Quiet Great Location

My husband and I stayed from April 3rd to the 11th. Very friendly-and "homey" place to stay. We used the gas grill for some dinners and made breakfast and had coffee each day. We loved the closeness to Sanibel Island/Captiva. We attended an Everglades Hockey game and worshiped at a nearby church. We had all we needed and Liz and Gary are very friendly and good people. We love the ocean-the beaches and palm trees. Close to grocery stores-Mcdonalds-outlets etc The community the home is in is very neat, clean and quiet. Great Italian restaraunt across the street. We had a wonderful experience. This was our first time in SouthWest Florida and we loved it!

Colorful and comfortable

This home was supplied with all the necessities of everyday living from the paper products to spices, to clean sheets, tablewear and cooking ware. Lots to see and do in area and easy to find way around town. Owners pleasant and accommodating. Lots of activities to do at clubhouse if you prefer to stay on property. Lots of restaurants nearby and discount mall within walking distance.

Great place to stay!

Thank you Liz and Gary. We felt right at home. We were very comfortable and your home had everything we needed and more. The air flow throughout the home was excellent and with the ceiling fans we didn't use the central air conditioning except for one night when the humidity got a little too uncomfortable. Location!, Location! Location! We were only five minutes from Sanibel island and and the stores like Publix, Target, Walgreeens, etc, were only a mile or so away. A local fruit stand was right on the corner from the gate. Not only were we close to almost everything but you also provided everything we needed for the beach including chairs, umbrella, bags and scoops for shelling. We definitely want to come back again. Thanks again Liz and Gary for a wonderful vacation home.

Great location/cozy place

The trailer home was in a perfect location for anyone who plans to spend a lot of time at the beach. It is about 3 miles from the Sanibel causeway and 2 miles from Bunchee beach. It was a very quiet area and had a well equipped kitchen great for saving $ by eating in. The sunroom/screened in area was nice for AM coffee. Bedroom and bath would be tight for a larger family but accomodates two people just fine.

Fantastic, affordable, and spacious!

My wife and I stayed here along with some friends (4 adults total), in March of last year. We were looking for something quiet, affordable, and fun. We couldn't have been more impressed to have such a quiet corner of the park, with tropical foliage all around and squawks of native birds, etc. We also loved the spaciousness of the place; each couple had their own sleeping area (the bedroom and additional sleeping areas are on opposite sides of the home), and the patio area was perfect for coffee, drying off after swimming, reading, etc. Nice to have basic kitchen equipment as well. We purchased fresh Florida gulf shrimp from the dock, and grilled them on the newer (huge) grill outside. A highlight of the trip. There are actually 2 separate pools on the property (one with hot tub) that are both easy walking distance from the home, so be sure to check both of them out. We were also very glad to be so close to Bunche beach (one of my favorite beaches- on one side of the beach, you can walk hundreds of feet out into the ocean and still be knee-deep in water- you can see beautiful shells, and tiny fish, very natural and clean. The other side boasts deeper water, and beautiful rivers inland surrounded by mangrove forests). The bridge to Sanibel is like 5 minutes away as well (we went twice). All in all, we loved the place, and have already booked a return trip this year! You willl be very pleased with the value and quality!

Q: What makes our vacation rental special?
A: We love our location! It's in a cul de sac in an older part of the park with mature palms and pines! I have nine different palms on my spot alone! We like the privacy it has along with lot's of shade after a hot day at the beach!
Quiet ,Quiet, Quiet! We also have two bikes for you to use to pedal around the park, to the pool or to the local fruit/vegitable stand. Our place is quite large in the living area,(seats 7/8 comfortably) Great for entertaining all your new friends or family. We actually have three separate places to relax- the outdoor lanai, the sunroom, and the large living room. Come on down and relax.
Q: What is the coolest nearby activity?
A: Well, depends on your likes, I think Sanibel causeway, bridge, and the Island itself is very magical. (Most often see dolphins on the ride over) Shelling on the area beaches ranks high (each beach has a little different type of shells) Shopping, we love all the Beals and they're outlet stores.(can't find them up north!)
