Description of the Fort Walton Beach vacation condo rental

Ooooh! Ooooh! Ooooh! Pick me! Pick me! You'll be delighted you did. If you are looking for Paradise you have just found it. You will love this beautiful fourth floor condominium with an ocean view from the balcony at El Matador.

A comfortable King Bed in the bedroom and a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the Living Room - Perfect for the Family. 2 TV's, DVD Player, fully equipped Kitchen, 2 Recliners, Nice Patio Furniture and a High Speed Internet connection.

The EL Matador has two beautiful swimming pools - on right down by the beach, a nice workout facility overlooking one of the pools, two tennis courts, large grass courtyards (ideal for kids to play on), a beautiful gazebo on the beach, two jetted whirlpools and saunas, an event center for large gatherings, and many other features like outdoor grill areas and surf fishing. We also have 24 hour Security on site.

Our Condo is adjacent to 17 miles of undeveloped beach (a rare find these days) which is ideal for long walks and collecting sea shells. Take your loved one(s) for a stroll, sit and listen to the calming effect of the waves lapping on the sand, and watch the spectacular Sunsets on this never crowded stretch of beach.

The El Matador is a family oriented retreat conveniently located to several restaurants and shops. The Okaloosa Island Pier is a 2 mile walk and Destin is only 6 miles away. This island prohibits condos greater than 6 floors so it is much less crowded than Destin and surrounding beaches. However, you are just a 5-10 minute drive from some of the nicest restaurants in the Florida Panhandle.

I have a local Realtor to help with your stay. They accept checks and credit cards, take care of any maintenance issues during your stay (usually none), and give you the keys. Come Relax and Unwind while you enjoy our beachfront condo and all the tranquility the beach lifestyle has to offer.

Okaloosa Island is situated between Pensacola and Destin. The waters of the Gulf lap these beaches with some of the warmest most refreshing waters around. There are many wonderful activities within a short drive. The Gulfarium provides Dolphin, Seal and Penguin shows daily. There is shopping to be had with something for everyone. Inshore and off shore fishing can be arranged simply and at some of the most reasonable rates around. There are several excellent golf courses in the area. Eglin air force base is located just outside Fort Walton and has an excellent Flight museum.

Destin is known as the "Luckiest fishing village in the world". This helps provide the absolute freshest seafood you will find virtually anywhere in the world. Rentals can be found for Jet Ski's, fishing tackle, bicycles, party barges and almost anything you could imagine.
The bay offers a perfectly sheltered area to enjoy the water in almost any weather. This is one of the truly incredible areas of the world. With its Emerald green waters and white sugar sand beaches Fort Walton and Okaloosa Island are a perfect tranquil paradise.

In Destin, a short 10 - 15 minute drive away, there are several good restaurants and malls for shopping. Kids will love Big Kahunas water park and The Trac racing, arcade, and miniature golf course.

We were looking for something better than our usual Motel on the beach and we have found it. I couldn't have been more pleased with the condo or El Matador and the 13 miles of beach right there to take our walks especially for sunset my wife turned to butter. We will be back and I'm telling everyone I know.
