Description of the Fort Walton Beach vacation condo rental

Luxurious and elegant three bedroom condo located at the prestigious Destin West Beach and Bay Resort on magnificent Okaloosa Island. This tropical paradise overlooks the Choctawhatchee Bay and pool area. Destin West bayside has landscaped grounds with palm trees, 700 foot lazy river pool, zero entry pool, cascading waterfall and two large hot tubs. Guests have access to all the amenities at Destin West gulfside including an additional pool, hot tubs and fitness center. A pedestrian bridge connecting the bayside to gulfside provides a short and easy access to beach.

Destin West is adjacent to the national seashore with four secluded miles of pristine sugar white sand beaches. We are within walking distance of the Boardwalk, Gulfarium, convention center and fishing pier.

Professionally decorated unit with brand new furnishings with West Indies décor. Wireless High speed Internet service. Free Beach Service(2 chairs/umbrella) from March 1st-October 31st.

Master suite has king bed, dual nightstands, 27“ TV, private bath with whirpool tub, shower and a double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed, dual nightstands, 27” TV/DVD and an adjacent full bath. The third bedroom has two twin beds and entertainment armoire with TV/DVD combo. The living room has 27” TV/DVD, queen sofa sleeper, loveseat, upholstered chair and entertainment armoire.

Fully equipped kitchen for the discriminating chef includes granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Spacious kitchen includes bar area with 3 swivel barstools and dining table that seat 6 guests. Travertine tile, plantation shutters, custom draperies, and Caribbean artwork throughout entire unit. Laundry room has full size washer/dryer.

Great space, great place

As a family of five with three teenagers, we treasure family vacations. But hotel rooms are tight quarters. This condo was perfect -- twin beds for the girls, a queen for our son and a spacious master for us. Finishes are beautiful. Access to the Gulf beaches are convenient, and the pools and lazy river are warm and well maintained. We had a great time and highly recommend this property!

We really enjoyed staying at Destin West while in Ft. Walton Beach for my son's wedding. Everything was so clean and nice and very homey. We will definitely be coming back for a vacation.

Check-in was timely and the condo was really nice for our two families (5 adults/3 children). We were in room 508 overlooking the Bay and the Lazy River. The children really enjoyed the lazy river. They probably spend 4-6 hours in it each day we were their. The over pass bridge was great as highway 98 is very busy and hard the cross. The sand beach was very clean (no oil) and only a short walk to several eaterys and the fishing bridge. The kids loved fishing and the rates were reasonable. There were many options for extra things the do, golfing, snorkeling, wave runners, boat rental, etc and several coupons were available at the office and the staff was very helpful---we would stay again.

DESTIN a hidden treasure, beautiful beaches well taken care of buildings and condos. Very well managed and maintained pools and surroundings. Would definatly stay at again.

Everything was exactly as it was listed in the description, the condo was beautiful with all the amentities you will need for your stay. We had 3 grandsons under the age of 7 with us and they had a more than enough to entertain themselves with the lazy river, pools, beach and kiddie water park. We all had a great time and the owner was great to work with. We hope to rent this unit again when we go back to the beach !! Thank you again.

Everything about this place is beautiful the condo's where fab and clean, the pool and lazy river was great my 4 kids never got bored at this resort, the beach was so soft and wonderful. You do walk across a crosswalk and across the Destin Gulfside to get to beach less than a 2 minute walk but the bay side accomadations make up for the walk to the gulfside. Wonderful most relaxing vacation i have ever taken in my life. I cant wait to save up again and come back.
