Description of the Fort Walton Beach vacation condo rental

One bedroom condominium at luxurious Destin West Beach and Bay resort with views of the Choctawhatchee Bay and sugar white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Destin West Bay Resort offers the following amenites: 700 foot lazy river pool, additional heated pool with cascading waterfall and two hot tubs. Guests have access to additional pool and fitness center at Destin West Beach resort across the street.

Our fifth floor unit is part of the seven story Destin West Bay resort located on Okaloosa Island. The resort is adjacent to the national seashore with miles of undeveloped coastline. The property is three miles from Destin, which offers award-winning restaurants, golf courses, shopping and water excursions. We are within walking distance of the Boardwalk,Gulfarium and the fishing pier.

Our one bedroom, two bath unit has a separate bunk room with two twin beds. Master bedroom has king size bed and living room has queen size sofa sleeper. Ceiling fans, cable TV and DVD player in both master bedroom and living room. Unit has well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, ice machine and washer/dryer. Unit’s decor is Caribbean West Indies with wicker/palm tree accents. Non-smoking unit and no pets allowed. Wireless internet.

Area Information

Deep sea fishing. Fishing pier within walking distance. Gulfarium. Watersports. Within minutes of award winning restaurants and shopping in nearby Destin. Silver Sands Outlet mall.

Wow, so much fun!

We brought our 9 and 11 year old kids. They loved the lazy river and heated pool so much we only made it across the bridge to the beach once in the whole week! Condo is very clean and well-kept. It faces the bay so no sand at your doorstep, but we will be back again next year. The kids loved it and the view was gorgeous!

A great spring break

This was a great condo with everything you could possibly think of for vacation. We were not able to enjoy the balcony in the mornings only because the weather was unseasonably chilly. A bit chilly for lazy river as well, but we can't wait to come back! :)

This lovely condo had everything you could possibly need - even dishwashing liquid, detergent, salt and pepper! Very well furnished. When a light went out, a handiman was sent. Pool was heated and could be enjoyed many days this month, in spite of it being January. This fitness club across the street had all the right equipment. Staff at desk was friendly and helpful.

Great location for family and friends.condo had everything we needed.Pools were great and so enjoyable for the kiddos and Adults.the beach was in walking distance and clean,fun, and most of all memorable! Loved it...can't wait to go back one day!

Owner was very helpful prior to arriving. Any questions I had I would just email or call and she'd get right back to me. The condo is very clean and furniture is nice. I couldn't ask for more. The bayside is actually better for us because we overlook the pool and lazy river and watch the boats. My 22 month old is having a blast. This is by far the best vacation we've been on and couldn't have been any better than what I imagined! Young and older kids EVERYWHERE!!

We just recently returned from our trip and it was amazing. This condo was super clean and had everything we needed! It was close to everything we wanted to do and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend this to anybody. We loved sitting out on the balcony every day eating breakfast and dinner. the kids loved the bunk beds and it was plenty of privacy for us. I will defiently book again! Thanks!
