Come on down to The Emerald Coast at our special vacation rental in Fort Walton Beach. Lots of room for your family with a new Oversized Queen Select Number bed by Select Comfort in the bedroom (sleeps wonderfully), a queen sleeper sofa in the family room and privacy bunk beds in the hall, which are great for kids and teens to sleep 2 conveniently next to the special half bath. And of course, we have a washer & dryer for your convenience.

And what a wonderful view of the Gulf, straight out to the emerald waters and overlooking the pool and hot tub.

Our kitchen has everything you need for cooking a scrumptious gourmet meal or just making coffee for a simple breakfast. A side by side refrigerator gives you plenty of room for all your food and beverage needs. Of course, we have a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

When you want to lay on the beach and not get too much sun, we include Beach Service (one umbrella and two chairs complimentary are set up for your convenience and enjoyment, March 1-October 31. Just tell the beach attendant you are in Island Princess 408.

How about seafood? We have plenty of delicious seafood restaurants for the best of the Gulf Coast Quisine. The Crab Trap and Floyds Shrimp House are two of our favorites close by. You can go 10 minutes into Destin for many more including The Back Porch, Pompana Joe's, Landry's, Captain Daves, and on and on.

If you like shopping, try Destin Commons and Silver Sands Outlet Mall.

For outside activity away from the beach front, visit The Track Amusement Center for mini golf (great at night), Water Bumper Boats, go-carts & for those not faint of heart, Bungee Jumping, and of course Big Kahuna’s Water Park.

Okaloosa Island is situated between Pensacola and Destin. The waters of the Gulf lap these beaches with some of the warmest most refreshing waters around. There are many wonderful activities within a short drive. The Gulfarium provides Dolphin, Seal and Penguin shows daily. There is shopping at the new Destin Commons and the outlet malls. Deep sea fishing is available close by can be arranged simply and at some of the most reasonable rates around. Plenty of golf courses around to choose from. An excellent Flight museum is located at Eglin air Force Base, which is located just outside Fort Walton Beach.

There is an abundance of great seafood restaurants around the area. A few of our favorites on Okaloosa Island are The Crab Trap, The Black Pearl, and Floyd's Shrimp House. They are on the Island just a couple of minutes away. Of course, 15 minutes away in Destin, there are many more to choose from. The Back Porch, Pompano Joe's, Landry's, and many more.
