The cottage was built taditionally in the 19th cnetury and overlooks a little bay in Loch Linnhe. There are good eating facilities nearby.

It is in the middle of the most historic part of the Highlands. This is Appin, the land of the Scottish Stewart Kings who reigned for 400 years. But the people here go back a long way further, back 3,000 years when they put a mysterious Standing Stone in a field nearby. You can have tea/coffees by an ancient 700 year old Scottish Castle. Just 20 minutes down the road.

Area Description

You will be surrounded by mountains which were formed 40 million years ago. There are wonderful walks, high level hills walks, cruises, wonderful wild life.

You can ski here at two centres, you can cruise and watch whales, you can fish off an old pier beside the cottage, you can do high level walking, you can cycle around well maintained tracks, you can stroll around the little lochans.

It is a breathlessly brilliant place for the holiday your family will remember for the rest of their lives. But, be warned, visitors come back again and again.

In the off season months we drop our prices down to levels less than half the summer rates.
