The home was a very nice, well-maintained home just one block from downown Frankenmuth. Across the street is the beautiful Riverplace shops with their wonderful specialty cafes. Just a short block across the beautifulo river are the fantastic Frankenmuth Chicken resteraunts and the many specialty shops. Nice visit. Nice house to stay.

Ladies Get Away Weekend

This house was everything the ad said it was. Very charming. The location was so convenient, we had no need to get in the car and could walk to all the shops and restaurants. I would consider staying here again.

We went to Frankenmuth for a National dog show and stayed at this house. It was perfect! Clean, warm and cozy. Had everything we needed. Staying in a home rather than a hotel is always our preference, this place is wonderul. If we go to Frankenmuth again, I will plan to stay here again :) Thanks for everything, we really enjoyed our stay!!!

Great Girls Weekend Getaway!

6 of us had a girls weekend in Frankenmuth. The house had plenty of room and was perfect for us. We did find that there were not enough bath towels and toilet paper for us and the heat wasn't working but just one call and our towels and toilet paper were there and a heating man there to make us comfortable. Our needs were definitely met. It was great having the attached garage too. The basket was a nice surprise with yummy treats for us. Such a nice touch. I'm glad we went to Zehnders but it was just okay. Tiffany's for pizza was the best.Bronners was a big hit with the ladies. If we ever wander back to Frankenmuth, we'll be sure to stay at this house again.

Perfect for Winter Weekend Getaway

This house was perfect in accommodating my husband and I with our two children and two small dogs. There was plenty of space and it was nice to have a full functioning kitchen. The owner was a delight to work with. Great location for Frankenmuth and we liked being able to walk everywhere. Birch Run and Saginaw are a quick car trip. The pizza at Tiffany's was awesome!!!

Thanksgiving in Frankenmuth

We enjoyed our stay in this house during the four nights we were there. As with any stay away from home, there are pros and cons. On the positive side, the property has a great location. You can literally walk to most of the attractions in downtown Frankenmuth. The house is spacious having a nice sized bedroom and bath downstairs and a very spacious bedroom and bath upstairs. The kitchen has space to prepare meals and the dining room with table and 6 chairs provides a place to eat away from the kitchen. Given that we were there during cold weather, the heat worked well and kept us warm. And the owner provided other blankets if needed. The negatives were not huge issues but worth mentioning. There is an electrical problem in the kitchen that prevented us from using more than one appliance at a time. The owner warned about it in a note but we experienced serious power fluctuations when using the microwave or coffee maker even by themselves. On the last day of our stay, we woke up to a lack of hot water preventing us from taking showers. While the description indicates that there are two single beds in a loft and a day bed, the loft is really the landing at the top of the stairs going up to the large bedroom and bath. We assume that the day bed must have been one of the single beds in the loft. Overall, we would stay there again because the price and space offer more value than what you will find in the hotels in town.

Girls Weekend

Great time and great house to stay at in Frankenmuth. There were 8 women for our girls weekend and we couldn't have been more comfortable. There was lots of room and we also brought an air mattress for the upstairs bedroom (it is very large and could be better used with 2 more single beds along the one wall). We could walk everywhere and the town itself is beautiful with great shops. 10 minute drive to the outlets, and approx, 25 minutes to Saginaw for Hobby Lobby and some of the big box stores as well as Pride and Country. We would recommend Tiffany's downtown, for great food. Zhenders was ok, but Tiffany's was very good. Monserrat was wonderful to deal with, very accommodating and friendly and a nice basket of goodies upon arrival was a very nice added touch. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you Monserrat

In the center of everything

This was our second stay, this houst is convient to everything. If you like to walk, even Bronner's is close. Recommend you drive, the packages will get heavy. This is a really nice older home to stay at when in Frankenmuth. It is clean and well kept. Nice couple getaway or with friends. Monserrat is great to deal with and makes you feel welcome. I know we will stay here in the future.

Great time the second time around

This was our second trip to this wonderful home in Frankenmuth . Our first visit was August, 2011.The historic confortable home is so close to all the main Frankenmuth attractions, you can walk to: The River Boat Ride The main Chicken Restaurants Zehnders and Bavarian Inn River Walk Stores Other downtown shops and restaurants Outdoor Music & Dancing next to Bavarian Inn I brought my golf clubs and walked thru the back yard to the "Fortress"clubhouse...virtually next door....The house is very comfortable, nice to have an attached garage. The owners are very interested in making your visit a happy experience. You will be greated with a gooodies basket upon arrival. You gotta love this place.

FABULOUS IN FRANKENMUTH!!!

This was our 1st time in Frankenmuth. We were there for a softball tournament, GREAT LOCATION!! Walking distance to everything. Right by the river. It was plenty big enough for my family of 4 and I LOVED that I could bring my beloved German Shepherd with us. Nice and cozy home, these pictures do not do this home justice! We will be back for sure! This stay has inspired my husband to look for a vacation home in Frankenmuth now!!! Only thing I would change would be a later check out time for Sundays. 2pm would have been perfect! We were scrambling to pack the car up before going to championship game that morning.I would have been nice to come back and get our things. All in all GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!! Thank you!!!!

Although this is an older home with lots of character, it was an extremely pleasant home to stay for the weekend. We had an excellent time and enjoyed walking out the door and literally being in heart of Frankenmuth. Felt like grandma's house without grandma. Loved it and I will never stay at another hotel in Frankenmuth again. I think the owner could generate alot more bookings if she added a couple more single beds here and there....there certainly is a ton of room for more beds. I think this home could sleep10 or more if a couple more trundles and daybeds were added. WE LOVED IT and WE WILL RETURN next year!

Great Location!

We found this home to truly be just steps from downtown Frankenmuth. Shopping was right down the street and the Famous restaurants were within walking distance. My husband and I had a nice getaway from our Busy Family Holiday. We recommend this to travelers who aren't to fussy. Remember this isn't a Hotel, if you are expection maid service stay somewhere else. If you want a nice quiet place to stay you found it!

We rented this charming rustic house at the perfect time of year to enjoy the Christmas season in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The house was very spacious and had everything that a family would need. The house is located within walking distance of Frankenmuth's charming downtown businesses. If you go to Frankenmuth make sure you visit Zenhender Bakery. It is a local legend and produces wonderful baked goods. Definitely visit the legendary store Bronner's. I'm not sure how or why anyone would go to Frankenmuth and not visit Bronner's but if you want to see more Christmas ornaments than you ever imagined possible go and allow yourself at least 5 hours to explore the store. We were 100% satisfied with this property.

Great Family Weekend in Frankenmuth

My family goes on a long sisters and mom weekend each year. We always rent a house as it is always better than being in a cramped motel. The house is comfortable and within walking distance of most things in Frankenmuth. There was a nice basket with bread, pastry and jam from Zehender's that was a pleasant surprise. We would stay again.

Loved this house worked great for my family of six. 3yr old twins 6yr old and 8 yr old. Hotels don't work for us. The kids shared the big room upstairs and the hubby and I slept in the room down stairs. So close to the shopping at river place that I ran back just to change my shirt before going to dinner. The rd you have to cross is a little busy and I might not want to do it in the colder weather with all the kids. We will be going back.

A Wonderful Place to Stay in Mid-Michigan

As mentioned by other reviewers, the location of this house is great, and is within walking distance of many different kinds of shopping, restaurants and entertainment within downtown Frankenmuth. Even though we were so close to downtown, we were just far enough from the main drag, and I didn't notice any traffic or other noise. The house was a perfect base for my family and my sister's family during our visit to Michigan. When we arrived, we were greeted with a clean and tidy home and a complimentary basket full of local goodies, maps, flyers and more. The home was larger than I expected, with a roomy upstairs, a well-designed kitchen, and a large main room downstairs. When a handful of friends and family stopped by for an impromptu game night, we were all able to sit around the table without feeling cramped. Even better, there were enough chairs for everyone! All of the little details made our stay great. The little things like having extra chairs available, quality kitchen appliances, and comfortable showers all made a difference, and they were noticed by our families. Communication with Monserrat was fantastic before, during, and after our stay. If you are planning a visit to Frankenmuth, I recommend staying at this vacation home.

Great location, owners thought of everything!

I was thrilled with our first vacation rental experience. This house is adorable, with plenty of room for friends to gather! The owners thought of everything, from a bag of coffee to a grill complete with charcoal and lighter fluid. The house is just steps off of Main Street, so we walked every where--a definite plus since the holiday week brought extra traffic and cars. It was clean and just as described. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this house with 3 families (6 adults and two children) It had plenty of space! The bedroom upstairs is huge. The location is excellent you can walk to downtown and to the Christmas store... downtown is a one minute walk. It was clean and comfortable.

I really enjoyed this rental. I wanted to take a quick weekend getaway that wasn't too far from home and I came across this rental. It was perfect, everything I could have asked for. The location was great and the home was very cozy. Everything went smooth with the reservation and transaction and the owners were very hospitable :) Everything you see, you get. It was really nice being able to use the garage. This home has a big porch you can sit outside on which I took advantage of thanks to a surprisingly warm weekend. This home is perfect for anyone, couples, families or even if you want to get away alone and want the peace of being in a home opposed to staying in a hotel with a lot of traffic. We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the home. It's closer to downtown than even some of the hotels that are located downtown! Everything was a very short walk and being January, having a garage was a bonus. The home itself was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely redone, the bathrooms were clean and well kept and the bedrooms were a great size. This is a wonderful home for a family getaway and I will definitely stay here again. If you visit Frankenmuth, this is definitely the place to stay. Thank you Monserrat for wonderful stay.

My 6 sisters and I stayed here for 5 days and were pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the location. Although we had a few plumbing problems and were without a dishwasher, we had a great time and we are looking forward to returning for our annual shopping trip. Your home was the perfect choice for my family's stay in Frankenmuth. This lovely vacation home offered plenty of clean, comfortable areas to be together as well as more than generous sleeping accommodations. With Riverplace shopping not 500 feet out the door and restaurants 2 blocks away, our car hardly needed to leave the garage. Even so close to the main part of town, the house feels quiet as it sits in a neighborhood next to field and golf course- great area for walking! We will definitely be back!

The moment we stepped inside this beautiful home we just knew that we had made the right decision. Located in the heart of Frankenmuth, you are literally steps away from Main street where all the action is. This home has a newly renovated kitchen with a open concept living area including a family friendly TV area to watch your favourite TV shows and/or movies! There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms to choose from as well as a good size garage to park your car into if you choose to do so!
