Description of the Franklin vacation cabin rental
Delightful secluded cabin in the mountains with large screened-in wrap-around porch with hot tub and grill. Clean, nicely furnished with W/D, dishwasher, fireplace, cable TV. It also comes with a roll-away bed that can be used for an extra person.
Franklin is in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. It is known as the Gem Capital of the World with numerous gem mines where you can go and try your luck. It is just a 30 minute drive to Cherokee & Harrah's Casino. Cherokee is where you start your drive thru the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in Tennessee where the Dollywood theme park is located. Just west of Franklin you can visit the Nantahala River and take a raft trip down the rapids. Just east of Franklin is the City of Asheville where you can visit the beautiful Biltmore House. Franklin can be your vacation spot to discover the wonderful Smoky Mountains.
