Located just 5 miles North of Franklin off 441 you will find this cool cabin with an awesome view. We are so proud of this cabin. The cabin has 2 bedrooms one queen and 2 twins, livingroom, kitchen, one bathroom with a tub/shower and stackable washer and dryer. The outside boast a large deck for lying in the hammock, and the covered deck has rocking chairs, high bar table for enjoying meals. Charcoal grill for all your grilling.

Little cabin in the woods

My wife and I stayed here the second week in October 2011. The view is great, very private (although there are other houses near by none are within site of the cabin). Good central location to explore Franklin, Highlands, Cherokee ,Bryson City, Sylva, and Dillsboro. Lots of quaint shops in these towns not to mention the wonderful drive to each of them. We found this area to be much less congested than the Gatlinburg area. Overall, I would recommend this property for a couple wanting to enjoy a low stress no hassle mountain visit. The only downside to this cabin is access, the driveway is very steep and dirt which could be a problem for anyone not having a 4 wheel drive vehicle (if dry it should be no problem but it rained a couple of days and I did have to use 4-wheel drive to get up the driveway).
