Awesome Little Cottage

We spent last weekend at Cabin 2. It is an awesome little cottage with everything you could possibly need. It is very nicely decorated, was very clean and cozy. The pictures represent it well. Diane and Gene are wonderful people. We just loved it and plan to return again next year. Robbie & Kim

Owner's reply:

Come and enjoy Western North Carolina with us. The leave's colors are turning now and chill is in the Fall air.
The colors grow in intensity during the month of October. There is usually a light snow around Thanksgiving.
Our cottages are in the Westeren Iotala Valley, only 5+ miles from Franklin and are on mostly level terrain and easily accessible. Mountain side cabins have excellent views but are hard to get to on wet or snowy roads. Come and visit us and see the surrounding mountains from a valley perspective. You are always welcome to come and relax with us.

Quiet Mountain Cabin

We enjoyed our stay very much. There were rabbits, squirrels, birds, cows, and mountain scenery. We were in Franklin for a family reunion, and the location was convenient to Holly Creek Baptist Church where the reunion was held. Dianne, who was our contact, was gracious and helpful. As was to have been expected, cell phone access was limited, and the Wi-Fi was available sometimes. In a rustic setting such things are the norm. There are interesting activities in Highlands, Waynesville, and Franklin. Very historical locations.

Lovely Peaceful Cabin

I had a great stay at this little cabin. I took full advantage of all it had to offer: reading in the hammock, sitting in the swing, spending a lot of time doing nothing. The cabin is well decorated with a decidedly rural valley field. As a woman traveling alone I felt very comfortable here.

We stayed here for part of our summer vacation. The cottage is beautiful! The owners were there to help In any way they could. The cottage was stocked with eveletting we needed and decorated wonderfully! I would recommend this cottage to anyone. We can't wait to go back!

Just wanted to let everyone know that they would not go wrong by staying at this cabin. It was perfect. The hosts, Diane & Gene always made sure that we did not want for anything. They had suggections on different restaurants and all were delicious. The cabin was clean, kitchen was new, the bed was one I wish I had at home. Everything was just perfect. GREAT GET AWAY

We had a wonderful stay at this sweet little cottage. The owners were so nice and made sure we did not want for a thing! Every morning we had our coffee on the porch overlooking the great view of the mountains. It was very relaxing and so nice to hear the birds singing and just watch the "world go by" .It was a very nice vacation for us and we hope to come back soon.
