Description of the Franklin vacation home rental

Our mountain home is located one mile outside the city limits of Franklin, NC. You have easy access to our house with paved roads and a concrete driveway. This mountain home has it all, beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains and is only minutes away from the most beautiful and entertaining parts of Western Carolina in a secluded mountain estates community. Our home can comfortably accommodate two families (sleeps 8 people) with three bedrooms, fold out sleeping sofa, three full baths, and two living rooms on multiple levels. With family and privacy at the same time, this home is the perfect solution for big family vacations. If you are looking for a mountain retreat or a family vacation, this has it all. Sit on the back deck and enjoy the mountains. Free wireless internet access and free long distance phone calls are included. Three night minimum stay required. Weekend rates are from Thursday to Sunday.

Area Information

Franklin, NC has it all. If you are in to hiking, white water sports, shopping, or just sitting on the deck and soaking up the view, it is here for you. Our home is located within walking distance of the Bartram Trail and only minutes away from numerous waterfall hiking trails throughout the Great Smoky Mountains, where you can view birds, turkeys, rabbits, and deer in the wild. The waterfalls are incredible and the views breathtaking, and can be viewed from several of the most challenging and beautiful golf courses you will ever play. Catch your own mountain trout supper either in the local streams or in the many local stocked trout farms. If antiquing intrigues you then you are in heaven. There are wonderful shops in Cashiers, Highlands, Cherokee and Dillsboro along with a great indoor antique mall at the Whistle Stop in Franklin housing more than 20 Retail Stores, 60,000 square feet of antiques, 17,000 square feet of hand-made crafts in the Artisans and restaurants

There were only 2 of us, but this house could easily accommodate 6-8 people. The view was fantastic, both day and night. The house was clean and had all the supplies that you needed. It was very centrally located to all kinds of fun things to do. We will be back.

WONDERFUL VACATION PLACE

December 3, 2010

We stayed at this lovely home for a total of eight days and could have stayed forever. Everything you could want is here, except bring your own food. The mountain views are fantastic, especially at night looking down at the town of Franklin. This was our second year here and needless to say, we chose it twice for a reason. The fireplace is beautiful and also very cozy on cold nights. The area is very quiet and restful. We really have taken a "liking" to this lovely mountain home and God willing, we will return again. The surrounding towns are "fun" to go to, but knowing you can go "home" to this home stays happy in the back of your mind and you look forward to it. Thank you, Jerry, for maintaining such a place for our pleasure.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

We want to let everyone know that we had an amazing time at Heaven's View. Mr. and Mrs. Reinhart were great to deal with. The home was more than we could have ever anticipated. The view of the mountains was awsome and we could experience it from the huge back deck or from the comfort our the living space since they have HUGE windows across the entire home. There was plenty of room for the three of us and really you could have two families in the home and each would have enough personal space to enjoy private time. They have plenty of maps for daily driving trips to local "hot spots" which we used and we were very greatful for them. Everything was clean and modern and we had all the comforts of home plus more. We will certainly return to Heaven's View and we can't wait to do so! I hope you all enjoy your vacation there, too! I am sure you will!

Fabulous getaway

This rated as one of the best get away vacations I have ever had in many years. We had all the advantages of home but yet a beautiful and restful environment. The weather is perfect to escape the heat of summer since we were surrounded by the mountains. All members of our group would like to return to this area of N.C. and stay in this well appointed and comfortable home.

Perfect mountain home

We had a great time at this place. It is perched on a mountainside with a great view... the pictures of this place do not do it justice! The house is roomy inside, very clean, and has all the amenities needed for a vacation. The deck is spacious.. there is a table on it and we ate outside for every meal. It is very private. The town of Franklin is close by and there is plenty to do there if you are into that. Of course we were in the Smokey Mountains and did plenty of riding through some of the most beautiful areas Carolina and Tennessee have to offer. I would go back to this place anytime and recommend it to anyone who is thinking of taking a trip to this area!

Valentine's Weekend Get-A-Way

We had a great time at Heaven's View. The view was just that and it was very roomy for the three couples that went. We took a day trip to Highlands and to Whitewater Falls and enjoyed the cool weather! We will definately stay here again!
