This original Fredericksburg style bungalow was built in the 1920's by a well known local Fredericksburg carpenter who built the home as a wedding gift for his bride. It is a true arts and crafts style cottage with lots of interesting history. Located 4 blocks from the historic downtown Main Stree shops and restaurants this Bed and breakfast has been used as an inspiring writer's retreat for the owners and a tranquil respit for many travelers wanting to experience the incredible shopping and remarkable dining our charming town has to offer. Relax in the master suite with a king size bed and jetted tub big enough for two. There is also a sitting room directly off of the master suite with a fireplace. The two bedrooms in the front of the house share a bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower. You can easily rent the master suite just for two or the entire bed and breakfast for a gathering with your family and friends. There is an eat in kitchen as well as a formal dining room. Off of the dining room there is a 400 sq foot indoor/outdoor room with a wine bar and seating for relaxing after a long day of shopping, touring wineries, cycling, hiking or just exploring the historic town. If a couple wishes to lease the entire house for use of the kitchen, etc. there is an additional fee for cleaning. There is a $30 charge per person, per night over double occupancy. • Other Fees: Weeknite rate for Master Suite only is $135 per night, Weekend Rate is $145 per night. Weeknite rate for rental of entire house is $215 per night and weekend rental for entire house is $225. Weekly rental of entire house is $800 with an additional cleaning fee of $60 and monthly rental is $2,000. Call Angela Booth at for reduced rate pricing for rentals of more that one month.

Spent an October weekend at the blue bungalow. Nice, comfortable house within easy distance of the downtown. Great kitchen and dining area with all the comforts of home. Beds were VERY comfortable and great jacuzzi tub in the master. We will definitely go back.

We stayed at the Blue Bungalow and attended the Renewable Energy Roundup and Green Living Fair. The house was cozy, quiet, and very comfortable We cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen. The master suite is awesome. It’s an easy walk from the house to downtown. We’ll be back!

This is the cutest B&B I've every stayed in! Our group was 3 moms on an after back to school weekend! The house was spacious with plenty of room to spread out and had everything we needed and then some! Highly recommend - we will be back!
