A small home on the Harraskeet River, near South Freeport Harbor comes well stocked, and decorated. Available two weeks this summer, June 23 - June 30 and June 30 - July 7. During this time, a full moon falls between these two weeks, and you'll be able to enjoy the moonlight on or off the water. A mooring and canoe are available. Just 5 minutes away is downtown Freeport, home to LL Bean and many well-known retail outlets. From Freeport, you are well positioned to make day trips to many Maine coastal beaches and towns. In Freeport you have Wolf Neck State Park and Winslow Park to enjoy. Portland is just 19 miles away for access to city life as well as ferries to islands in Casco Bay.

Area Description

This home is located in South Freeport, a lovely waterfront area in Freeport. From South Freeport Harbor you can explore Casco Bay and the surrounding islands. Freeport is 19 miles from Portland, ME, a very accessible city with many restaurants and attractions. Freeport is also well positioned for day trips to many mid-coast and southern beaches and seaside towns. Probably the most famous landmark in Freeport is the LL Bean retail flagship store. Besides LL Bean there are many other outlet stores and restaurants to visit.

Casco Bay and Islands are just outside of the Harraskeet River and South Freeport Harbor. You could visit Admiral Perry's home on Eagle Island or take the Atlantic Seal Harbor Cruise that leaves the town dock daily.
