Description of the Fremont vacation cottage rental

This relaxing cottage is located in a quiet residential setting on the Wolf River with scenic panoramic views and 75 feet of water frontage. A large private pier awaits you for entertaining, fishing, boating, or sunbathing and swimming. Located on one acre, providing you with everything for fun including a hammock, tree swing, firepit, picnic tables & chairs, dock slip, pier seating, yard games, bikes, great fishing from pier and boat, free nearby boat launch, only 3-blocks from town, and a great view of the stars at night time. The cottage has 2 bedrooms each having queen beds and one with bunk beds as well so don't forget the kids. The kitchen has island counter seating and stove top cooking, wall oven, full frig, furnished pots, pans, dishes, utensils, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. A sun porch overlooks the river with tv(who needs tv), table and chairs, couch, and additional seating. The livingroom has two couches, (one is a pull out bed) with a picture window facing the river and a tv and stereo system. Sleeps 8, bed linen is provided you bring the towels. Tent is also available for those who wish to camp out in backyard along the Wolf River. Washer and Dryer on site if requested.

From our pier there are over 90 miles of navigable water with many adjoining lakes, towns and restaurants to visit by water. The three closest are Lakes Partridge, Poygan and Winneconne. The waterways offer great fishing and were located in the heart of the White Bass Capital. Also record catches can be caught right off the pier for Northern Pike or just catch Walleys, Catfish,Carp,Panfish, Crappie, Sturgeon, Bullhead, Sheaphead, & of course Bass.
Downtown Fremont offers several Bar/Restaurants, a grocery store, library, Fremont Nature Trail, quiet public beach and the famous Webfooters Water Ski Show Team performing on Wed. & Sun. evenings at 6pm June thru Aug.

• Deposits: 50% Deposit due at booking to hold reservation. The remainder of the balance is due 3-weeks prior to arrival. Security deposit $200.00 for first time renters.
   
• Other Fees: 14 Day cancelation notice is required for deposit refund. $25 per additional adult over 4, per day (maximum 8 persons) $75. Cleaning fee if cottage requires additional cleaning.

The cabin was cozy and clean. Everything you needed was available for you to use. You really only need to bring kitchen towels like it says and that is it! Nearby restraunts, bars, baitshops, beach, playground, grocery stores, etc. are all close and within walking distance. Nice big yard and pier to fish off of. The fishing and weather wasn't the best but we still had a great time!

After some nagging from my wife, we decided to rent this cottage for a weekend stay. What a great choice she made(for once!..LOL). The peace and tranquility that awaited us were just what we needed from inhabiting the big city year round. The cottage easily met my 3 C's requirement: clean, cozy and comfortable. It was well maintained with plenty of seating to lay around on(my favorite pastime). When we decided to soak up some sunshine, small boat and waverunner rental were readily available closeby. We soon discovered town folk are cheery & friendly, so be prepared to constantly wave "Hello" to passerby folks on the shore and boaters alike. We decided not to cook but eat out. The local restaurants were more than satisfactory for my wife's picky palate. Upon dawn, after returning from a great meal, starting a fire in the pit out back capped a most satisfying and picturesque day. I will definitely be returning here this summer again!

 

 A must for Boaters & Families, January 10, 2009

Were not into fishing but on this trip our kids actually fished for their first time. The bait shop was just down the road and the owner let us use a couple poles for the kids. The kids were never so excited catching their first fish and it seemed pretty easy to catch them (don't ask me what kind) it didn't matter a catch was a catch. The cottage was very clean and cozy. I never turned the tv on in the sun room, it was so peaceful to sit there and watch all the boats and activity on the water. Oh... and we saw a Bald Eagle fly from the wooded land across the river...what a site. The kids also used the bikes to ride around the neighborhood. It was very quiet during the week and also safe for the kids to ride around since its like a closed in community with only one road leading in so no traffic. This was our first time here and the kids are already asking if were going back next year. Lots to do or just relax on the hammock. Also the sky at nite time was like being at the planetarium.
