"Tara" is rented every year by family groups as well as wedding parties, reunion celebrations, retreats, major family birthday and anniversary celebrations, corporate and other golf outing groups. It sits on the 12th Tee and overlooks the 11th green of the Ocean Point Golf Course with the Atlantic Ocean seen from the front porch a short distance away. The summer of 2010 is already beginning to fill up, so please call for a reservation.

DESTINATION WEDDINGS WELCOME: With 5,200 sq. ft. and over an acre of grounds, you can plan to
have your rehearsal dinner, the wedding and reception all at the house with no extra charges. THIS IS THE ONLY HOME ON FRIPP ISLAND THAT CAN AFFORD THE NEEDED PARKING AND OUTDOOR RECEPTION AREA FOR WEDDINGS WITH 50-400 GUESTS!!! Of course the BEACH is also available for wedding ceremonies as well, then coming back to the house for the festivities. Services for all wedding needs from tents to tables and chairs to entertainment, catering and bartenders are available with help in the planning.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS FOR 22 PEOPLE: On the main level with the very large kitchen, dining and living room, there is a master suite with a king size bed. On the second level, there are two master suites, each with king size beds. There are two other bedrooms, one has two double beds and the other, one double bed. They share a large bathroom. On the Patio level, popular with younger or group members, there is one bedroom with 4 twin beds and another with 2 twin beds. There are also two fold out couches that become two twin beds located in a large living area that also has its own TV and DVD player.

Two refridgerators, two ovens are part of a huge kitchen with granite tile counter tops. This Southern Mansion has been totally renovated over the last 2 years keeping its unique Southern Charm.

We provide FREE AMENITY CARDS already included in the rental rates allowing access to 3 1/2 miles of Atlantic Ocean, two Championship Golf Courses, 5 Swimming Pools, 4 Restaurants, a full service Marina and 8 Tennis Courts.
