Other Vacation Rental Amenities
The territory of National Park of Cilento offers to the visitor an extremely varied scenery. Its cultural landscapes (archaelogical, historical, urban, religious places, welcoming, vital rhythms) do not contrast with the natural landscapes that characterize the visible horizon. Instead, they integrate it perfectly and constitute the reason of attraction for the desirous traveller on the look out, among the jagged coastlines, curves in the valleys and on mountain slopes, for an alternative way of life, different from the every day routine. The small family countryside business can, in this way, guarantee a production which is free from all kinds of pollution, characterized by flavours of the past where cheese really tastes like cheese and olive oil tastes like olive oil. And at this point other typical gastronomic products are not less important and they all belong to "Mediterranean diet" dishes: from the famous "Fusiddi" and "cavatieddi" to the "soppressate", from "caciocavallo" with its intense mountain fragrance or "ciambotta" (mixed vegetables), from the mozzarella cheese "re mortedda", to the local cakes like "pastorelle" (fried chestnut cream in pastry), the "anginetti" (biscuits covered in lemon icing) and the "zuzumieddi" (hard honey biscuits), and to finsh the production and transformation of local chestnuts and figs.
