Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental
Your town house style condo features 2 bedrooms with 1 1/2 bathrooms. The living/dining/eating area is open so it is easy to visit with family and friends. You can choose to dine at the table in the elegantly furnished dining area, or choose the comfortable table on the balcony for those gorgeous sunny Galveston days.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, a microwave, crock pot, and since this is my personal vacation home a variety of spices and condiments for your use.
The balcony, either for early morning coffee as the sun rises or for a glass at wine at dusk, is the perfect way to relax and experience this tropical paradise at it finest.
Maravilla Resort condominiums are newly renovated with 3 large pools (one with a swim around island and swim up bar area) surrounded by lush vegetation. In addition to the swimming pools there is a large secluded hot tub and a bubbling waterfall that cascades down to one of the pools.
In case you want to "work" or "work out" on your vacation, there is internet access in the lobby, a washer/dryer in the condo and a exercise/workout room.
Your vacation paradise is close enough to downtown so you can experience all that Galveston has to offer - elegant restaurants, the historic district, shopping and the cruise ship docks, yet far enough away that you are not in "tourist heaven". You are within walking distance to the largest fishing pier on the island, miniature golf, a bungee jump, a bistro-type restaurant and some shopping as well as the beach.
Since you are on the west end of the island, you are also close to Schlitterbahn Water Park, the Galveston Golf Course, Scholes Airport, the Lone Star Flight museum, Moody Gardens and wonderful places to bird watch. I look forward to sharing my vacation home with you.
