Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental

This beautiful beach front with an unobsured view of the ocean (180 degrees) is centrally located on 61st street and seawall blvd. Very easy access to the beach. The condo features one bedroom, equipped kitchen, and a nice size bathroom. The complex is newly renovated in 2007 and we had recently installed new flooring (in 2009). Located directly across from the sandy beach on 61st Street Pier and Seawall Blvdand. Centrally located in town. Words cannot explain the beauty and comfort of these condos, so we invite you to come and stay with us, and experience the joy for yourself. Thank You. Priced much less than hotels yet having much more to offer

This place was so cute! It was a mini-apartment complete with a full service kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful. It had a nice view from the balcony and is located across from the beach, surrounded by stores and restaurants. The only "down" side was that the a/c didn't seem to cool according to how we set the thermostat. Otherwise, we now know where to stay next time we go to Galveston.

My Stay at the Maravilla Resort # 319

My husband and I stayed with our dog in Condo # 319. I have to say for the two of us and our dog it was plenty of room. I loved that it was a little west on the seawall away from all the attractions so we could get away and relax but was nice that less than 10 min. down the road and you are in the middle of everything. I must say it was totally hassle free. I had no problems and teally enjoyed our stay. The big plus for me is that I could take my dog on the trip. I will stay again.

Not my best rental experience

Condo wasn't clean on arrival. Nice cleaning people arrived to hastily clean while we were in the condo with all our gear. The condo may sleep 6 but only 4 can eat with the amt of plates and cutlery available. All beds were extremely uncomfortable. The location and view are excellent. Parking was easy except for the crowded weekend. I've had much better rental experiences in Surfside, TX than this one in Galveston.

Twin beds were youth beds. They were very, very small. bed arangement in condo was: 1 queen bed, 2 very small youth beds, and 1 pull out couch with no sheets. We did not sleep well.

Weekend get-a- way

It was in a great location - the beach was right across the seawall. The condo was very clean. We had 5 adults and 1 child so it was quite cozy, but a great place for a weekend get-a-way. We enjoyed the 2 pools on site. Bring your own pillows and some extra towels. Overall we would likely stay here again because of the location.

Quick Vacation 2008

Older complex. Not a bad place. We are giving it a 3 as it was quiet and did have ocean view. We have stayed at 5 stars and maybe we are spoiled. There were workers at the complex painting, etc. So, they are working to improve at least the look. Note: Bring your own toilet paper and cleaning supplies as not provided, or the maid needs to be replaced.
