Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental

Gorgeous, fully renovated, one bedroom condo on historic Galveston Island ready for your summer and fall getaway!

Our condo is located on the Seawall, top floor, front section area location, with a fabulous view of the gulf, lake and what's left of the fishing pier!

We have a custom gourmet kitchen, fully renovated bathroom with a large shower with grab bars, a high riser toilet, high sink too! (completed Nov. 2007) One bedroom with full dresser, queen bed, and tv, a flat screen tv with DVD player (in living room), cable, HBO, tiled balcony with furniture and so much more! Relax on the balcony and listen to the gulf, see the dolphins at play, or just take a snooze with a good book!

Our community hosts three pools, a hot tub, exercise room and tropical gardens.

There is lots to do on the island, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Air Museum, Train Museum, Historic Home Tours, miniature golf, great restaurants, beaches, fishing, etc. Close to shopping, Walmart, Kroegers, Target, etc. A short drive to NASA, Gulf Greyhound Race Park, and, of course Houston!

**Due to Hurricane Ike last fall, some pictures have changed. The fishing pier was destroyed and at this time the complex has one pool available. There is ongoing construction to the exterior and interior common areas. Looking forward to seeing you this summer.

The condo was very clean, very nicely decorated & the recent renovations are definitely evident. The location is great, the main pool is really nice & big. We totally enjoyed ourselves & will definitely go back.

CLEAN! Wonderfully decorated and all the comforts of home! away from the 'noise' of the seawall traffic yet still convenient! We loved it and the owners were wonderful to work with! I highly recommend this for your next getaway! I just hope that it's open for our next getaway!

This condo was very nice!! Highly recommend it above any other condo in Galveston. My family has been going to Galveston Island for numerous years and have not found a condo that was this nice for the price. All amenities were updated and you just felt at home. It is very cute and themed appropriate for the location. The owners were very personable, accessible and willing to do what is necessary to make the trip nice. Highly recommend it!!

Our condo was very well furnished and suited our needs to a tee. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was also very quiet even though it overlooked a busy Seawall Blvd. We were very pleased with our decision to rent this condo. The owners were very very helpful in making sure we had a perfect sisters' getaway. Maravilla is a nice place. However, they do advertise as having 3 pools, but had one padlocked for our entire visit. No construction or repairs were going on at this time either. It would be nice if only one pool was designated for families with children (maybe the biggest or main pool) and leave at least one for adults only as some of us are there to escape bickering and whining of children.

The condo was absolutely perfect. Like staying in a high-end hotel. The kitchen was equiped with everything needed to feel right at home. The huge flat screen TV with the built in DVD player made it so easy to plug in Diego, Dora or whatever my daughter was in mood for - to her it was like being in a movie theater!! The view was spectacular. We really enjoyed the balcony. We had a fantastic time and staying in this wonderful condo with everything we needed and more, made it all the more special and relaxing. I didn't want to leave!
