Great vacation at Skiles condo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo. The view was beautiful and the condo very nice. There are all types of restaurants and vacation opportunites within a short distance from the condo. The staff at the condo was very pleasant and helpful to us if we had any questions. Galveston is a great place to take a vacation.

Since it wasn't high season, my health issues became a problem, and they were very kind in our wishes to relocate. It wasn't what was best for us in our situation, and they were very understanding. We appreciate their attitude!

Great view and location

Staff at the property friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in/check-out. Awesome crystal clear pool. Could sit on the balcony all day just gazing at the ocean. Convenient to restaurants, shops, and beaches. Condo itself needs some basic maintenance that comes with any home - a fresh coat of paint, new carpet, and more towels hooks in the bathrooms for wet swimsuits and towels. That being said, we'd stay there again.

Gorgeous view and great price

This is a great condo for the price. It looks exactly like the pictures. The view from the balcony is wonderful and the location is very convenient. After a heavy rain, water accumulated on the back walkway and leaked in under the wall in the master bedroom and soaked our luggage that was sitting on the floor. As this has probably happened before, it would have been nice to have been cautioned about leaving things on the floor. Also the air conditioner froze up and stopped cooling and it leaked water onto the carpet near the bathroom and we had to step over it. Sandy was very quick to respond to my calls and had someone come and get it cooling again. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and I liked how bright the whole condo was. The best thing is the view on the balcony. I loved watching the sunrises and the thunderstorm lightening from my 7th floor seat! I even saw dolphins swim by one morning. The staff was very friendly and it was a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Even with the wet carpet we stiill had a great time and will probably rent it again. For the price it is really a good deal compared to a lot of other places nearby. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children, and we had plenty of room. Even though it is a small condo, the 2 full baths made it very comfortable for 6 people. All in all it was a great getaway weekend.

the condo was like a home away from home. the room had a wonderful view. the staff and the neighbors were very friendly. One of the nights we were there it rained and rain did seep in the back bedroom but it wasn't that bad. This is one condo that i will bookmak to rent again and again.

Fun That Never Stopped!

I rented this condo for nine days and we loved overy one of them. The pool is lovely and the ocean is right out front. We walked on the beach the last night and we found lovely shells and even watched the lit6tle crabs run around after dark. There is plenty to do and it is all within a few miles of the condo. I would love to return next year.

Very nice view from the balcony & the condo was very homely. Didn't see any dolphins but I'm not sure dolphins swim in salt water. Although we had problems with the ac cooling the owner had a fan available & plenty of everthing that we needed. Owners are VERY nice and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to vacation in Galveston. Nice & quiet; We will definitely go back.
