The Condo was perfect for our weekend in Galveston, very clean and had all the necessities. The patio was so relaxing and the breeze was super!! Nam was very nice and was very quick to respond to our questions!! She even offered extended time if we needed it!! The pool and grounds were very well kept up and the neighbors and locals were very friendly!! I would highly recommend renting this condo for the location and the pleasant experience we had here!! My husband and I had a great experience staying here with our two children for a long weekend over Spring Break! The unit is lovely and was very clean. The complex is also very nice. Although it isn't right across from a sandy beach, it is just a short walk from one and the Walmart and other shops across the street make the location very convenient. The owner, Nam, was very courteous and quick about responding to emails.

Dream Vacation!!!

I was so pleased when I walked in to this stunning condo. My Siberian Husky Zoey and I stayed here for a week. I have never felt so at home on vacation, I must admit when it was time to go, I was not ready to go back home. The view of the ocean was breathtaking from the patio and the fenced in yard was a delight for Zoey. This condo was so clean, it didn't feel like a rental. The appliances all new and the owner was so accomodating, she even called to check on me and see how my stay was going and if I needed anything. This is so close to moody gardens and sits directly on the sea wall. It had wifi and cable, and all new appliances. The grounds were beautiful and the two pools with waterfalls felt like paradise, even the bed was amazing. The decor was contemporary but had a homey feel to it with deep reds and sage and dark wood. It was so convenient to check in, everything I needed was sent via email before I left Houston. I made coffee in the mornings and sat on the patio listening to the water, Zoey and I walked the seawall and the beach every day, all we had to do was walk out the door and there we were. All the necessary utensils and pans were provided for me to make an amazing dinner in and some nights I went out. There was also a grill on the patio and I grilled one afternoon in absolutely perfect weather while listening to music on the entertainment system provided. I just cant say enough about this place and about the hospitality of the owner. I have refered all my colleagues and friends and I dont want to stay anywhere else when I come to visit galveston. I usually stay at the San Luis, but San Luis has nothing on this place. In closing I want to mention how affordable it is as well. I had an amazing stay and it didn't hurt my pocket book!!!! And my deposit was returned to me the day after I checked out. I want to say a special thanks to the owner Nam for making her home such a wonderful place to visit. Thank you Nam! See you soon.

We have stayed in alot of hotels and condo's in the Galveston area, but none as nice or that we were so comfortable in as this one. The view was beautiful, we sat outside every evening and watched the beach, the traffic and the people walking by. There are 2 pools on site, both are very nice. The condo it's self was everything you could want, we felt so at home. Even to being able to wash a load of laundry without having to go to a laundry mat. Very beautiful and well kept, we had no complaints, except that we had to leave. Everything was very clean. The owner is a very sweet person to lease from. We can't wait till we can return for another week of relaxation. This is without a doubt our new home away from home. Thank you so very much Nam.

This condo totally meet all my expectations! When you reserve something online you never know what you get sometimes. When we got there it was nice and cool and very clean. The views were absolutly beautiful from the living room and bedroom. The condo is in the perfect location...very convenient to everything. Nam is so sweet and she made the experience easy. My family of 4 stayed at the Dawn for a week for spring break. We loved the location right away. We brought along our 6lb schweenie and she was able use the grass in front of the patio without us having to leave the condo (although the fence didn't work). The decorations, space and proximity to local shops and restaurants and most importantly, the beach was perfect! Ms. Nam was helpful when we ran into a problem and we were very hapy with the overall experience. We had an amazing holiday; running along the Seawall in the morning watching the sun rise, and walking the beach with the kids and dog at night was beautiful. We love Galveston and eagerly look forward to our next visit. If we're lucky, Ms. Nam will have availability for us next time too.

Wonderful Ocean Front Condo

We just got back from having a wonderful weekend stay at this condo. It was super clean and we loved the location. The decor was great and it had everything we needed. We will be staying here again in the future and have already told friends about this. The complex was great. It had everything we needed. We have always stayed at hotels in Galveston and we enjoyed this stay so much more. It was private and had just enough space.

The Dawn condo was very comfortable and the amenities made for a very relaxing vacation. The location was first rate with a wonderful view of the gulf. The winter weather in Galveston felt very spring like to us after leaving our -30 degrees. We loved sitting around the pool reading; relaxing and soaking up the sunshine.

We booked the Dawn for thankgiving weekend. Its perfectly located right in front of the sea and has sea view from both bedroom and living room. Property was very clean and owners are so helpful and nice that it makes whole experience living like in home. And its very economically priced for a condo at that location. Perfect getaway for two people. I would highly recommend.

I surprised my fiance with this for his bday Labor day weekend and we had a great time. It was perfect for two people and nicely decorated. Great location too - walking distance from Walmart. I got to cook him dinner as all the necessary dishware and utensils were provided. I never even had to meet the owners for the key as it was all electronic. Great place! Would stay again! :)

My husband and I just returned from our stay at "The Dawn by the Beach". We, along with our 3 children, had a very pleasant experience at The Dawn. The condo was very clean and the pools were beautiful. The Dawn is conveniently located to several attractions that we were able to visit. We most loved the view of the beach. Although I did not care for the noise of the busy street, I loved the oceanfront view from the condo. I would recommend friends and family to stay at The Dawn on their next visit to the Galveston area.

Me and my family booked this condo in July of 2010 and it was worth every penny. The place was immaculate. Owner was very accomodating and it was very easy to find. When we arrived, my biggest fear was the place would be dirty and not up to date. I was very suprised to find it had all the amenities one would expect on a vacation get away for the beach. The pictures you see on the site for the condo are real and not made up to make you "think" you will have a nice room. There were four of us and we were very comfortable. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because you did have to walk accross the street to the ocean, however, there aren't any condos on the ocean itself so it's not like you can walk out the back door and there it is. Galveston Beach is not Florida so the water isn't blue but more like lake water. This is no fault of the owner, but did think you should know in case you're visiting galveston. other than that, we'll be back.
