Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental

Visit our beautiful condominium "Galveston Tropical Palms" at Maravilla for an outstanding vacation on Galveston Island, Texas. The large private balcony (over 385 square ft) features wooden furniture including a table with 6 chairs. 2 lounge chairs with cushions and two adirondack chairs. Your spacious balcony includes potted plants and herbs as well as a solar umbrella for those romantic Galveston evenings watching the moon and stars. Wherever you chose to sit on the balcony, you will appreciate the lovely views of the Gulf, the largest of the three Maravilla pools and our secluded hot tub. Maravilla's landscaped property has walking paths as well as outdoor charcoal grills and picnic tables. You will enjoy the bubbling rock falls with the meandering brook leading into one of the Maravilla pools. We call it the "wading pool" since it is 3 feet deep and perfect for the children.

"GALVESTON TROPICAL PALMS” has two bedrooms and compfortably sleeps 6. One bedroom has sliding doors to balcony and the other has a wicker desk for writing, reading and relaxing.

If our guests would like to do some work or "surf the web" during the stay, there is a broadband, high-speed internet connection in the office and exercise/weight room with floor to ceiling windows where guests can enjoy watching the gentle water of Gulf as you exercise or work on your computer.

Your vacation paradise is close enough to downtown so you can experience all that Galveston has to offer - elegant restaurants, the historic district, shopping and the cruise ship docks, yet far enough away that you are not in "tourist heaven". You are within walking distance to the beach, miniature golf, a bungee jump, and some shopping.

Area Information

Maravilla is located at the western edges of the Seawall Boulevard. Between Seawall Boulevard and the Gulf there is a paved 7 miles walkway which is ideal for biking or walking while enjoying beautiful ocean views. Since there are numerous birds don't forget your binoculars and camera. Maravilla is within 3 miles of Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water- Park and the renowned Moody Gardens Gulf course.

Very tastefully decorated and comfortable! Awesome spa like bathroom and kitchen with all a gourmet cook could ask for! The grounds and pools are beautiful! Great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo with the furnishings, movies, books, and proximity to the ocean. Many great restaurants a short drive away, including the Cajun Greek, the Spot, etc. There are nice beaches just north of the Sea Wall, starting about a half mile west of the condo. Lots of historical things to see near the cruise pier in Galveston.

The Condo Was Great And Had Ample Room For The Family. My Grandson Loved The Pools More Than The Ocean! He Didn't Like The Sea Weed At All. The Balcony Was Huge And Very Inviting. We All Has A Great Time And Would Do It Again. Thanks
