This house was very clean and decorated very nicely, there was no wasted space and the house was fully equipped. The owner was great to work with and all 12 of us had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this beach house!

Our family chose to visit Galveston the week of July 4th to allow us to visit with our son-in-law who was working in the area. The condo itself was very well appointed and comfortable for 6 people; not 8 as indicated. The location is good to enjoy the area attractions and restaurants with your own transportation or a short walk. The exterior of the facility was poor and landscaping was lacking. Autos are required to registered with the guard however after three attempts I gave up and later received a flag on my vehicle for not doing so. The cost of the unit is comparable with more desirable beach locations along the southern coast however the seaweed makes the beach unuseable and impossible to enjoy. Travelers should be advised prior to making reservations of the less than desirable conditions so that an educated decision can be made.

This beach home is well appointed with high end appliances and up to date decor. Beautiful and comfortable, with a view of Christmas Bay. The pantry is stocked with coffee, tea, popcorn, salt, and pepper - you only need to bring your groceries and clothes. They have laundry soap as well! The house is located between Galveston and Freeport in a secluded neighborhood. There are only a few other beach houses near it and most of them were empty when we were there. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the nearest grocery store or bait shop (in Freeport). You can fish in the canal, but it would be better to bring a boat - there's not a lot to do otherwise but relax and fish. There are some guided fishing tours that you can arrange if you plan ahead. The beach is within one mile, but you have to cross a fairly busy highway to get to it. The beach is also fairly secluded with few visitors. Head towards Freeport if you want raked beaches with more people-watching. Our only issue was the mosquitoes. We had heavy rain and they were out in full force. Bring your repellent if you are going in the spring.

We had a great time during our stay at seascape. Check-in and Check-out was quick and easy. The condo was very clean and up to date. I loved how the tv's were mounted on the walls since we had two little ones with us. The beach access was right out back. No walking across the street. The beach was clean and not crowded. Plenty of towels were provided. It was only a short drive to Moody Gardens and several good restaurants. I definitly would recommend this condo to others.
