I'm pretty go with the flow person, and try not to complain. But also feel that the truth is... what it is. This unit needs some... not too expensive updates. PROS: Person in office (open till 6pm) was friendly and helpful. Charged $10. per vehicle (covered entire stay) and gave wrist bands for pool. Parking under the complex was GREAT. There were carts for luggage and elevator. The view from the balcony was GREAT. There is no sand area across the street, so people do not park along the seawall, which makes less traffic and the view GREAT. The pools/hot tub were AWESOME. The kids really had a blast and other people in the pool were friendly and considerate. CONS: The futon (couch) bottom is wore out. Both queen/full mattresses/box springs creeked and popped VERY VERY BADLY with every move and leaned toward the middle. My husbands comment was, "I don't think they are memory foam, but will for sure be a MEMORY." Lol. The sheets were too thin and rough. There were no pillow cases for the extra four pillows in closet. Unit did not have enough items like extra towels, pots/pans. Some of the chairs on balcony were broken. FYI: No electric problems noticed as previous person commented. On arrival office had the key from previous occupant. When leaving, pushed clear on the lock box, put in code and pulled down on the open button. No problems. There is not a washer/dryer in unit. Dishes and silverware do not match, which might prevent theft. Pretty standard bring your own: paper towels, extra toliet paper, dishwasher soap, salt/pepper, sugar, etc, etc, etc. We saw three charcole type bbq pits by the pools, but bring your own charcole, spacula, tongs, etc. Between the location, view from balcony, and pools... make it worth it. Hopefully the owner will update (mainly the queen/full mattresses and sheets), as would like to return in the future. I am thankful this unit was available, because, most of all, spending time relaxing and doing activities with family and friends... priceless. :)

The condo was wonderful! It is located just across the seawall from the ocean in Galveston, TX. The 2 pools were very relaxing after spending the day site seeing and at the beach. Highly recommended!

There were many things left out of the description of this condo. There were bunk beds, which were clearly not mentioned or pictured. The description says 2 sleeper sofas which turned out to be one small futon and bunk beds. They make futons bigger than that I know. One person could barely sleep on it comfortably. There was also an ant problem and for those guest who slept on the bunk beds they were bitten all through the night. The highlight was location and view; the fact that it was right across the street from the ocean. The rental agreement did not mention that there was a parking pass and a fee associated with said pass. Overall it was a lot of false and misleading advertising. Also the communication between myself and the owner wasn't great. The owner needs to be forthcoming with the specifics of this condo. The property and the management team were great. The problem is with the owner and how she is being allowed to advertise this condo. It's not an accurate advertisement.

Check-in was at 3pm, but we weren't able to arrive until around 2:00am the next morning, July 9. Exhausted from the 5+-hour drive, we just wanted to unload and get in bed. Unfortunately, the condo had not been cleaned. There was sand on the floor. The beds were unmade. There were dirty dishes in the sink. There was a bag of trash in the kitchen spilling over with trash in other trash cans throughout, including dirty diapers. All towels and wash rags were dirty and in the floor. We did not have one washrag or towel that was clean and no clean sheets or pillow cases. We turned our sheets and pillow cases wrong side out, and I washed my face with a paper towel. Everything was dirty. We wore socks to bed. I called the contact person, Kathleen, and left a message about the condition of the condo. The next morning I left another message. She NEVER called me back. The cleaning people came around 10:00 a.m. the next morning, but the towels and wash rags provided were insufficient for 5 people. We ran out. I reused my wash rag twice. We had an issue where we were locked out and we could not get hold of ANYONE. We had to stay outside for about 2 hours in the heat with a small child. We would like a refund of the mandatory cleaning fee and one night's stay. I will be making a formal complaint.
