Great place to stay

3 teens really enjoyed the game room, heated pool, hot tub and computer game room. It was too cold to enjoy the pool but it looks like an excellent place to play, float in the small river, and lay out. Our condo was excellent and had everything so minimal shopping was required to stock up for the spring break week. I did wish the condo had wifi but the reception area did. Beds were great and even the pull out was comfortable. Will stay here again and recommed to others.

Diamond Beach has proven to be the nicest place to stay in Galveston for our family. We have been to the coast year after year and have stayed in mediocre establishments. Finally a newer, cleaner, beautiful option! The condo itself is gorgeous, inside & out. We had 2 adults and 3 kiddos so the girls had a room, our son had a room and we had a master bedroom that was the perfect size. The Master bath & closet are very nice in size and the rainfall shower was fabulous! There is a washer & dryer in the room which was fantastic--we went home with very little dirty laundry. The views from the balcony look right down to the amazing pool & the beach--so peaceful & relaxing! AS far as the rest of the resort - the pool and lazy river area are wonderful. Our kids had so much fun & so did we. It was clean, and well maintained. Grounds were well manicured. The property has a private movie theater that you can use your own DVD's for--we used it several times-just reserve with the front desk. This was wonderful for our family to have a private room to watch movies with our very family (who was also staying on the resort in a different condo)...the kids were able to be loud and it wasn't an issue for anyone. There is also a private dining area that is gorgeous. It is available to be reserved for your family by calling the front desk. We did this a few nights and it was great to bring in food into this gorgeous space that was just for our family. It even has a balcony that looks out to the beach. This resort is great for families--the best option in Galveston hands down. We will stay again!! The only negatives- there were tons of mosquitos at this property! A few would even get inside which drove us a little nuts. Would be more ideal if the condos were sprayed down monthly to combat this issue. A suggestion about the master bedding-- change the sheets to something more comfortable. Currently stiff sheets. The bed itself is fine and a new set of comfortable sheets can make all the difference. The kids beds actual had softer sheets. Last negative-- Ryson Rentals is terrible. They truly do not care about service at all. Calling their office and dealing with the staff is frustrating. The girl that took the reservation originally was great but everyone else there seemed easily flustered, irritated, and unfriendly. If I owned a rental property I would not allow Ryson to list it. I'd stay in this unit again due to how nice it is but the rental company should be nicer!
