Sand Dollar at Maravilla

Welcome to Sand Dollar at Maravilla - an adorable 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo at the Maravilla resort complex that welcomes up to 6 guests to enjoy not only the well-appointed and comfortably furnished condo, but the tropical grounds, 3 pools and other amenities offered by the complex and everything Galveston has to offer.

Condo features queen bed in master bedroom, queen sized convertible sofa (sectional) in living room, and true twin bunks. Ample kitchen provides anything you'll need to prepare entire meals, or warm leftovers from the greatest restaurant you find on the island with hundreds to choose from. Balcony is perfectly situated at the complex as it offers sunrise views, and from this location at the complex you can see the gulf, one of the 3 pools, and the nature area/pond to the east of the complex.


The Maravilla Resort complex offers 3 pools including the largest on Galveston island with palm trees literally in an island in the center of the pool, a hot tub, and workout room. Pools are heated by the environment only. Free WiFi access is available in the lobby during the complex office hours of operation, and in the workout room at all other times. There is a pay per use service also available from each condo if you prefer privacy. Coin operated laundry facilities are located throughout the complex. The complex, while gulf-front, is not sand-beach front. There are stairs leading into the Gulf of Mexico and folks regularly enter at this spot to swim and fish, but sand beaches require travel of 1-3 miles in either direction from the complex.

Galveston has so very much to offer from building sandcastles with the family to shopping in the Historic strand district, many attractions and restaurants - you could spend days on the beaches combing for seashells and, or course, Sand Dollars, or visit an 1800's theater where live productions are performed. There are Galveston events almost every weekend, and the City has become a gathering spot for youth competitions in dance and sports and cheer. So much to do when you leave you will already be planning your next trip.
