Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental

Welcome to Seaglass Paradise @ Maravilla, one of the sweetest little 1 bedroom/1 bath condos that the Maravilla has to offer. With exceptional 1st floor east side sunrise views, you'll want to have your morning coffee on the balcony and you will never want to leave.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed with luxurious and tropical comforter & pillows to snuggle under and watch a late night movie. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room for 2 additional guests, a kitchen with everything you will need to prepare a gourmet meal or warm up your leftovers from the great restaurants all over town.

Cruising from Galveston? This is the perfect spot in which to stay before or after and extend that vacation by a few days or a few weeks.

Beachcombing? Looking for seaglass, shark's teeth or any other treasures that our sands hold? Come to Seaglass Paradise - furnished and decorated in the colors of sea glass, with just enough tropical décor to remind you inside and out of the condo of where you are.

Area Information

The Maravilla resort condominium complex is located west of 61st Street, still with Seawall protection, and is one of the most sought after complexes for guests from short term weekenders to Winter Texans.

Whether you are traveling alone and looking for solitude, or your family is escaping reality for vacation, the Maravilla offers something for everyone.

The resort (not us) charges $15.00 per vehicle short-term, and $25.00 per vehicle long-term, for parking. You will need to visit the office to obtain your parking permit(s), and we will send that information with your confirmation.

Please do not smoke inside or on the balcony of this unit.

Fall/Spring

And always ask us - we don't want our property sitting empty. We provide personalized price quotes in response to every email - we check local rates and our own availability before we do that - so don't assume we won't negotiate.

We will not ask for a seucrity deposit. Instead, our prices include a damage waiver that protects you and us against incidental or accidental damages while you are in our place.

We hate taxes as much as anyone else - however, we are required to collect, report and pay 6% to the State of Texas and 9% to the City of Galveston for all rentals of 29 days or shorter.

The $80.00 fee we charge for cleaning includes so much more - quality bed linens and bath towels, linen/laundry charge, damage waiver (we won't ask for a security deposit, unless you are staying with us 6 months or longer) and starter supplies including toiletries, paper products and coffee.

Had a Great Time!

Loved our time in this condo. Max is 4 people, but we had a great ocean view. The condo was super clean and nice furniture. The big pool was great and pleanty of charcoal grills surrounding the pools. I will definately go back!! Fun, Fun, Fun...

Q:What sets this Victorian condo apart from all the others?
A:The service you will receive. To us you aren't a number, you are a guest. Just like to us this isn't a condo - this is someone's home-away-from-home. You aren't renting a sterile hotel environment - you are sharing someone's home while you are on vacation and we want you to remember, you are our guest, our #1 priority, our walking talking advertising - and we want you to say only good things and we want you to come back.
Q:Is it true that the kitchens at this place aren't real kitchens?
A:Gotta be honest - if you are planning to make a gourmet holiday meal, this isn't the perfect place to do it. But if you are looking to warm up last night's leftovers for a midnight snack then yep - you're in great shape. A large dorm/small apartment fidge, 2 burner cooktop, microwave and dishwasher are in the unit for cooking/cleaning up. Plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware. Certainly plenty for breakfast and lunch, bacon & eggs, sandwiches and chips, cold drinks and snacks. Probably not if you are planning to cook the Thanksgiving turkeyad dressing, though. But not to worry - from fast food to white tablecloths, there are plenty of great places to eat in Galveston. Happy to share my favorites with you if you are interested.
