Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental

This is the owner's private and personal condominium, originally purchased for our family's getaway. Due to our family and travel schedules, we've decided to open it up to guests and visitors and hope you will find it as inviting as we have when we aren't personally able to be here ourselves.

The condo sleeps 4 - with a brand new comfortable queen sized bed in the bedroom, and a king-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.

Another guest is welcome to join you in a pack-n-play (we can provide one so you don't have to schlepp it with you), sleeping bag or air mattress (though we don't provide these.)

The condominium building itself offers fast elevators, a gleaming pool, a lovely lobby, coffee area downstairs, tennis court (we have a couple of rackets in the closet if you want to play - but someone took the tennis balls - so you'll need to make a quick trip to Academy or WalMart unless you have your own), coin operated laundry, and perhaps the friendliest staff on the island. Front door trash pick up is even included! Parking is free - just keep in mind that the back gate gets locked at night for security reasons - so if you are going out between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am you should park in the front of the building.

I know what you are thinking - MAN THOSE RATES LOOK HIGH. But they aren't! First of all - everything is included, yes - even the kitchen sink comes in the kitchen for that price!

Area Information

Sun, sand, surf - the three S-es. That's what most people come for, and then they realize how much more Galveston has to offer. Shopping, dining, the arts, art and yes, the beach! Cruises depart almost daily and we can give you a jump start or a slow "let down" between getting off the cruise and returning to reality.

A:Nicely equipped with all of the things you could possibly need in the kitchen, countertop appliances, cookware, dishes, etc. to enjoy your stay. Homey. Ecclectically decorated. You know you're at the beach but its not overdone.

A:Pack. Weather appropriate clothes, sunscreen, cold drinks and food and come on down. We're waiting for you.
