Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental

“Galveston Tropical Getaway - #2” at Maravilla is ready for your Galveston beach holiday. Our new one bedroom condo, at the popular ocean front Maravilla Resort Condominium, is located in the new rebuilt section of Maravilla right next door to "Galveston Tropical Getaway - #1" Both are decorated in cool relaxing colors with lots of art. Everything is BRAND NEW (with the exception of some artwork and the classic wicker furniture in the bedroom)!

We think of it as our Romantic Galveston Getaway and invite you to visit. This condo, one of our five personally owned and managed Maravilla condos, sleeps five. We have a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom with a mirrored closet wall, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a single adult size twin bed in a hide-away nook. All the floors and the balcony are tiled with 20 inch ceramic tile for a stunning look.

You can walk from the living room to your private balcony overlooking the largest of Maravilla’s three pools with a view of the hot tub and the Galveston Gulf in the distance. The well-designed modern kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops and top of the line appliances. The cabinets are oak and includes a pantry. You can eat at the bar or sit at the rectanular table by the window or even grab a plate and dine on the balcony with the refreshing Gulf breezes. The bathroom has a tiled shower and a tub to soak after those long days in the sun.

This part of the Maravilla complex has all new construction. We are proud that our "Galveston Getaway Twins" are some of the first condos to be completed and ready to share with guests. In addition, we are delighted to report that the Marriott Hotel next door is now complete - along with a Starbucks for easy access for our condo guests.

Area Information

Maravilla is located at the western edges of the Seawall Boulevard. Between Seawall Boulevard and the Gulf there is a paved 7 miles walkway which is ideal for biking or walking while enjoying beautiful ocean views. Since there are numerous birds don't forget your binoculars and camera. Maravilla is within 3 miles of Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water - Park and the renowned Moody Gardens Gulf course.

Enjoyable Family Time!

We came to Galveston Island to spend our Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The condo was nicely furnished with just about everything we needed. The location is great just across from the seawall, within minutes from Wal-Mart and a quick drive to a lot of the Island Attractions. We will absolutely stay here again. Fantastic Weekend Getaway

My wife and I did a last minute trip to Galveston and it was awesome. After looking for awhile we contacted Marilyn who promptly responded and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. After we arrived the check-in was quick and painless. The condo was nice, clean and has great view of the pool. After a wonderful day at Moody Gardens we wanted to stay longer. She was so accommodating and let us check-out late. The whole weekend was perfect and I would definitely recommend anyone stay at Maravilla. Thanks Marilyn for everything.
