Description of the Galveston vacation condo rental

Welcome to Starfish Paradise at Maravilla – a relaxing 2-bedroom condo located on the first floor, east side of the Maravilla resort complex near the end of Galveston’s Seawall Boulevard. This unit welcomes up to 8 guests.

The condo features queen sized beds in each of the 2 bedrooms, full-length twin bunks in the hallway and should your party need more sleeping space, a queen sized inflatable bed is available to accommodate up to 8 guests. There are 1 ½ baths, including a jetted tub! The kitchen features full-sized appliances and is well stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware & flatware where you can prepare your daily meals should you wish, or warm leftovers from any of Galveston’s fantastic restaurants. Televisions in the living room and each bedroom allow for separate viewing options avoiding vacation conflict! There is plug in internet access in the master bedroom of this unit.

The oversized balcony has plenty of seating for the entire group to gather for meals or to watch the sun rise.

Our prices are all-inclusive with no surprises. When you see our rates they may LOOK higher, but we will not then add in a linen fee, cleaning fee, security deposit and/or City and State occupancy taxes. We have included all of these things in the rates that we quote.

We love to say YES! If we have properties available last minute, just ask - we'd be happy to introduce you to our properties and exceptional service by renting to you at reduced rates last minute! Renting multiple units through us, and repeat guests always receive at least a 10% discount off our published rates.

Area Information

The Maravilla resort's tropical grounds include several pools, a hot tub, and a soothing water feature, along with picnic tables and charcoal grills available for guest use. The largest pool boasts palm trees in its center and a “swim up bar” picnic pavilion. Not an operating bar, but cement stools around the palappa make it the perfect spot to enjoy your picnic lunch in the shade while spending a day in Galveston’s sunshine.

There is also an exercise room, and WiFi is available at no cost in the office during posted business hours and the workout room. There is a pay-per-use service available through Galveston internet from each condo.

Q:What extra charges can I expect? Taxes, cleaning, deposits, etc.?
A:NONE. Our prices include use of quality bed linens and bath towels during your stay, start up supplies of toiletries, paper products, even coffee, cleaning fee and both City and State required taxes. We don't ask for a security deposit, either. The Association requires the purchase of a parking permit for each vehicle on the property through their office.
Q:Do you offer last minute specials or discounts?
A:We always give our repeat guests at least a 10% discount off our published rates. We give a 10% discount off published rates to groups that rent more than one property from us. And we love to say YES! If we have last minute availability - just ask - we would rather you stay with us and experience our great properties and exceptional service so you will want to return again and again (and as a repeat guest you will get that 10% discount!)
Q:Does the unit have a water view?
A:From the balcony of this condo (accessed through sliding doors through both the master bedroom and living room) there are views to both the Gulf of Mexico as well as a pond to the east that has abundant bird life. Great place to watch the sunrise and have your morning coffee!
