This is a great little place to enjoy Galveston. The beach is literally across the street! The neighborhood is friendly, safe and quiet for relaxing nights listening to the surf and enjoying a cocktail on the balcony. If a night out is what you are seeking, there are several places to stop in and meet the oh so nice locals. Surf, kayack, kite surf, fish or wander the beach. There is so much to do! A pool is nearby for those who want it. Just a few blocks on the golf cart. And to top it all off - Linda is great! She has a mountain of information about the Island and is more than happy to assist you in finding comfort or fun. Linda will even give you one heck of a massage. You can't get that anywhere else! Stay here, you won't regret it.

Linda, I cannot overly express my thanks to you for setting me up in this home especially when we trying to decide to visit. We had never stayed any where but in hotels around the seawall area. Your hospitality showed us "the errors of our ways" - lol. No more hotels. The home was, close to the busy area of Glaveston, but far away enough where it is so relaxing in a peaceful country type of setting . The Sea Isle Beach is located directly one hose away. Views of the gulf were great from the house. The house was perfect especially being pet friendly. Our dog enjoyed it as much as we did.

We had a wonderful time at the beach house. The porch upstairs has a nice view of the water. The patio downstairs has lots of seating and is a very cool place to hang out. The interior of the house is just adorable. I love the tile floors and the bathroom is very spacious which was great when trying to shower the kids after the beach. The kitchen is fully equiped too. You have to cross a major street to get to the beach; however the traffic was not very heavy even on a holiday weekend, so making it across was not a problem. I would defintely stay here again! Thanks, Linda.

The great things: good view of the surf, good access to the beach, close proximity to grocery stores, bait shops, gasoline stations, restaurants on the west end of the island, long shady porch upstairs with plenty of seating for groups to gather, no sticker burrs aka goat heads on this property, shady downstairs with good breezes day and night. The not so great things: poorly functioning air conditioner, filthy appliances, mouse droppings on cabinets overnight, flea infestation which the renting agent would not listen to when I told her that myself and my friend were the bitten numerous times. My dog, which I paid a deposit for, was loaded with fleas, and he had been treated prior to entering the rental. Fleas that bit him were killed, but with the infestation level in the carpet and the bedding, it made for a miserable night's sleep, and we stayed out of the house as much as possible. Thank goodness the breezes were good for the time we were there.

My wife and I stayed here for a week of relaxation and fun. We went fishing nearly everyday on the onsite pier. My wife caught a huge Bull Red and I limited out on Speckled Trout. We were so close to the Strand as well, just a hop and a skip. Minutes away from great seafood as well. Can't wait to go again next year!!

My family and I had a great time at this property. We enjoyed: the short walks to the beach, hanging out on the deck watching the ocean, fishing on the pier and swimming at the pool. A great value for a relaxing get away.

Thank you Linda we had such a great time, the restaurant was fabulous, they had karoke, and a band, and the food was great, The view of the beach from your balcony was so nice to see, and just to relax on porch was great. The kids had so much fun fishing on the pier and swimming at the beach. Thankyou so much Darlene and Doug Evans.

We had such a great time, It is a beautiful bungalow, fishing, swimming, great restaurant on the bay, the beach is only a walk away. Sitting on the porch looking at the ocean. Thank you so much Rhonda and friends.
Paula and I had so much fun swimming, and cooking up our favorite shrimp and fish in your cute kitchen, and we played cards and just relaxed with your beautiful views.
thanks Eilene and Paula.
