Description of the Galveston vacation cottage rental

Please let us introduce you to our cottage which I am sure you will find is:

An EXTREMELY ROMANTIC INTERLUDE - Just Married or Reunite and spark that flame after a lasting relationship to make you feel that you were just married - A Business executive just wanting a comfortable place to stay while away from home, all this and more at the RELAXING, ROMANTIC, and REJUVENATING Cottage by the Gulf. This cozy, peaceful and inviting cottage is a clean, classic and newly renovated retreat. The warm feel of wood floors and a cabin like bedroom make this a must stay at resort as compared to the cold, crowded and somewhat noisey rooms in a hotel/motel atmosphere. There is a Bistro dinette nook in a newly renovated and top of the line granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Full size washer and dryer that are inviting to use.

The secret to this private, secure and well-equipped retreat is that it is your home away from home. There is satellite television on a HDTV 37" flatscreen in the Living room and a 27" HDTV Flat screen in the master bedroom with a DVD player. The living room has a surround system that will blow the neighbors away and allows for the classic candlelight fireplace for those romantic nights away from the sounds of the big city blues. There is phone service that not only does not charge for local calls but long distance calls either. The High-Speed internet access for those of you bringing your laptops and even a desk to keep your work to a minimum without being reminded you might be here for work are sure to help allow time for whatever you need while staying.

This place has it all and is centrally located in the middle of the island where accessibility is key to all the cuisine that Galveston has to offer it's vacationers. There is so much to do there just isn't enough space here to explain it all but the cottage has reference cards. There is also a book that will map your way through the house perks to make you feel more comfortable. There are brochures for the sights and sounds of the island in your new home away from home.

Also centrally located is the Convention Center which is just down the street from the house. All souvenier shops and actiivties are blocks away as well as Wi-fi spots and ice cream parlors. The beach is maintained daily and there is plenty of parking either on the seawall or only a block away one can walk or ride a bike to the beach to cruise the sights or enjoy a relaxing time listening to the waves roll in and roll out. The seagulls add to the delights of this serene atmosphere, and you can leave your car in the fenced in driveway of the home without the expense of parking or driving for several minutes to find the perfect beach spot, it's all right there!

Hurry to book this retreat as it will not be available long, as soon as others have sought it out ,it's sure to be constantly rented. In the off season discounts can be given so this is a great time to experience the serenity and take a long deserved break while you are here for that memorable time.

There are just a few terms and conditions that apply:

This is a Non-smoking facility (but there are table and chairs outside for smokers to sit out in the back yard under the tree and enjoy the roar of the ocean and the tropical sounds that one can encounter.) Also we do not allow pets at this time. Violaters will forfeit their deposits.

At this time only PAYPAL, US Certified Cashier Checks, USPS Postal checks and cash are accepted. (Sorry for any inconveniences) Any Scammers will be prosecuted so please don't try. Let's keep this clean for all to enjoy! Thanks

There is a generous check out time (You can't find this in any Hotel) of 2:00 p.m. and check in can be as early as needed.

Full payment is due 14 days prior to the stay and if a cancellation has to occur please notify us 48 hours before and all but $100 holding fee will be returned to you. If you have to cancel and have more than 14 days all the collected amounts will be returned.

A deposit of 300.00 is due to hold a reservation and all rates are subject to change without a locked in reservation.

Age limits will apply and no prom or soroity/fraternity are allowed on these premises due to the neighborhood requirements. The neighborhood is a safe and prestigious one and no loud music or activity will be allowed. If there are complaints this will remove the tenant and no deposit or remainder of rent will be given. If you are here for vacation this is exactly what the islanders enjoy about their home as well, the peaceful and serene living on a day to day basis for them. You will fit right in when you consider this and treat this home just like you would your very own. Mostly because it is yours while you are here and we want you to be comfortable and enjoy!

The property is in an extremely safe and patrolled desirable neighborhood only one block from the beach. It's centralized location will allow anyone access to anything that they are looking for while here on vacation or business. The neighborhood has many of the older homes that were well built, sturdy and charming.

• Deposits: Deposit of $300.00 will be held until 25 days after reservation is complete. All amounts will be returned after property has been checked. If there is no damage and the house is left in suitable condition full reimbursement will be returned. If there are any loud disturbances and tenants have to be removed all fees and deposits will be forfeited. If any non-compliance such as no pets or no smoking all deposits will be considered non-refundable + any damages done to property
   
• Other Fees: There is a 75.00/cleaning fee due on each rental.

We just returned from this darling cottage and the only thing wrong was that we did not stay longer! It was a perfect place to stay convenient to everything,beach,restaurants and historic downtown! The house was so cute and neat, modern yet nostolgic with all the amenities. The kitchen was fabulous and flat screen TV's were great! The washer and dryers were great and quick! We all slept comfortably with plenty of room! Barbara has done a great job and was so easy to work with and was there to help with anything we needed or questions! Our whole family loved it! We will certainly return and tell all of our friends! Hope to stay here again soon! Why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can stay here!
