Description of the Galveston vacation cottage rental

Soul Harbor Cottage is a beautiful, fully furnished, three bedroom, three and a half bath cottage located at the newly developed Pointe West Resort at the west end of Galveston Island. Master has a king size bed with private master bath and huge private balcony, TV and DVD. Bedroom two has a queen bed with private bath and seperate private balcony, and bedroom three has two twins with private bath. Living area is on the thrid floor with a huge balcony and gas grill. Living room has a TV Stereo/CD, and DVD. The queen sleeper sofa will sleep two. Fantastic views of the gulf and bay from all windows, and the deck area, which is also overlooking a beautiful stocked pond with fountain. A powder room is located on this level. The kitchen has all you will need with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, utensils, dinner ware, ironing board with iron, etc. You will truly love your stay at Soul Harbor Cottage!!!

Area Information

This beautiful and spacious 1,750 sq. ft. home is located within the Pointe West Resort, a resort development at the far west end of Galveston Island. Cottage guest will have priviliges at the Pointe West Beach Club located 1/2 mile from the cottage. A gulf fishing pier is close by just over the San Luis Pass Bridge, 1 mile away. The cottage is gulf view and approximately 200 yards from the dune cross- over. It is also located on a lake which has been stocked, and blue crab claws have been trapped recently. The Beach Club is located 1/2 mile from the cottage, and guest have full use of all amenities...infinity pool, private restaurant, gym, and lounge. There is a 3 night minimum for all stays during the summer season and certain Holidays.

We are close to all area attractions, but removed from the hussle and bussle of Galveston traffic. Moody Gardens, and Shlitterhahn are approximately 16 miles, with the Strand being about 22 miles. There are several local resturants with fantastic seafood within a 10 minute drive from the cottage.

And of Course, the beach is broad and beautiful, and groomed on a regular basis. No vehicular traffic is allowed on our beach.

Fantastic

Three couples cam to Galveston for Lone Star Rally and had a great place to stay. Accommodations were fantastic. House is a little distance from Galveston,but a great ride on our bikes! Nice to be able to get away from all the festivities and rest! First class accommodation and dealing with Mr. Brindle was great. I could recommend this beach house to anyone.

Great condo and great resort

This condo is very well decorated, clean and well equipped. The resort is fantastic. We've stayed there several times and its very well done. The pools are great and the beach is cleaned of the sea weed. The condo is very competitively priced.

More than I expected!

A group of exhausted high school teachers gathered at this amazing cottage for a weekend. This home was beautiful and made our weekend so relaxing with a bathroom for every room, a beautiful table for all of us to sit together laughing and enjoying the escape. The owner was wonderful, too! Checking to see if we needed anything...I hope to "retreat" here again!
