Area Information

Quiet Palm Beach subdivision. Located between Pirates subdivision and Pirates Cove subdivision. Palm Beach rentals are very popular due to the location bordering the beach and privacy of the area. It is a family oriented area with the beach right there so you can lounge and party all day without worries of packing and moving beach gear back and forth. Bay/Ocean fishing and golf nearby. Several small stores within less than one mile of the home. Galveston State Park (for nature and bird watchers) directly west and less than 1 mile. Pirates Beach and Jamaica Beach with John Lafitte Memorial withing walking distance.

This place was wonderful! After getting over the shock of no TV (no-I had no trouble making a week without it-will absolutely do it again) and worrying with the internet, my husband and I got down to the business of relaxing, beach-combing,eating and enjoying a couple of good novels. I cannot say enough good things about our accommodations-charming, quaint and quite comfortable. Thank you Sandra. You made our trip and we WILL be back. To everyone reading this you can't go wrong here with A Frame Vista or with Ms. Allen. Also the neighbors are great! Thank you Mr. Calvin!! (Really the only negative is the VCR could be replaced with a DVD player. That would be awesome!) So Sandra we will see you again soon!

Cute little place close to the beach

Great little place very close to a quiet family beach. The house has all the little touches needed to complete your stay. From the garden hoses near the entrance for rinsing the sand off your feet after walking the beach to the complete kitchen with a corkscrew, the house has everything you would need for a trip to the beach. We had no trouble finding the house, getting seafood at the local market to cook and finding a place to eat close by the beach. The beach was very nice and super clean. We loved being able to walk back and forth to the house in such a short period of time. Very relaxing and we would definitely come back again.

Beach House Dream!

We LOVED the house! It's so close to the beach! We cooked fresh seafood and lounged around on the beach with cold cocktails. It's about a $30(+tip) cab ride to the Strand but very close to several restaurants on the Seawall. We will definately come back and may even make it a bi-annual trip! Thanks for everything.

Doesn't get any better for the money

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here in January and loved it. The house is small but all the room you need for a couple. We loved the front porch, which looks right down to the water. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to settle right in. We wished we could have stayed longer. The property manager was a very helpful as well. All around a great experience! We're planning on coming back soon!

Perfect for laid-back couple's getaway

This cozy A-frame beach bungalow is the perfect spot for a couple looking to get away for a few days. My boyfriend and I went down for a week to relax and enjoy the beach. We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows and the friendly feel overall. We were just a short walk--only 3 minutes--from the beach. The living room, breakfast table, and kitchen are all connected, and from each space you can enjoy the view that reaches beyond the deck. We had a great place to get work done and hang out, and we were still just a short drive from the action downtown and at the Seawall. The manager is friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. You'll feel invited, welcome, and you'll avoid the sterile feel of a pricy hotel.
