Description of the Galveston vacation guesthouse rental

This is a large beach house that can comfortably accommodate for 9-11 people. It is located off of a private road with plenty of security. It is less than a mile from the beach, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, and the Galveston Airport. There is a fully furnished kitchen, with a very spacious living and dining room area. It has satelite dish network on the tv in the living room. It has four seperate bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. Also included is a high efficiency washing machine and dryer. Outside there is a large bar-b-que pit, outdoor shower and front and back deck porches with a beautiful view of the bay and gulf. There is plenty of room for parking.

*For the first two nights the price is $585, each night thereafter is $200 per night. (Same rates apply during holidays and specail events)

My Birthday Celebration

I wanted to do something fun for my birthday this year, not really into the club sene any more. So my sisters and I deceided it would be a great time to have a girls weekend only, no kids or husband/boyfriends. I must say it was one of my best birthdays ever. This was such a beautiful home and I can not wait to go back. I would highly recommend any one this house if they plan to make a trip to Galveston. Can not wait to go back. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Wagner for letting us enjoy your beach house.

Would Stay Again!!!!

We had a fabulous time!!! Kenny was very kind and helpful. We rented for my daughter's prom/family weekend...we loved sitting on the porch, listening to the waves. Very close to many restaurants and the beach was across the street. The inside was clean and it slept 11 of us very comfortably. We had an amazing weekend here at the house and we hope to come back sometime in the summer...

We rented the beach house for Prom. Our young people and the adults had a wonderful time. Great location and quiet. The owner is very helpful and has a great deal of knowledge about the island. The house was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely rent this house again.

We celebrated my husband birthday at the Wegners' beach home and I must admit it was wonderful. The beach home itself is very large and roomy. It is perferct for a larger group. I loved the hardwood floors. The best experience of it all was Mr. Wegner customer service. He is so nice, helpful and attentive. He went out of his way to accomodate us. We really appreciate all of his attention. We highly recommend Mr. Wegner's beach home, although if you are looking for luxury and modern appliances and things of the sort this may not be the place for you but the home does have everything needed for a week, weekend or month long stay. My 5 star rating is based on the service provided by Mr. Wegner, the location, the cleanliness of the beach home as well as the size of the home. Thanks again to Mr and Mrs. Wegner. We hope to visit your beach home again soon.

Spacious house for big crowd

We had 9 adults and 3 children (ages 87 to 2) for a week and the large spacious rooms and variety of sleeping options served us well as did the large living room and dining area. We especially enjoyed the deck and porch as there was always a cool breeze and having both areas allowed for different activities. The only drawbacks were the dishwasher leaked and we could not use it and washing that many dishes by hand is a drag, and the clothes washer did not work properly. Kenny is a great host and I am certain he will take care of these minor problems asap. Kenny is great to work with, kept us supplied with grilling wood and was very concerned about our comfort without being intrusive. I would recommend this rental and more importantly, the honesty of its owner.

Six of us stayed at the beach house while we attended our state conference. Kenny was a great host!!! He made sure we had everything we needed and was available if something came up. Several of us have talked about going back with our families!!!
