Hattie's Place, Too is a beautiful vintage cottage apartment guest house that features four custom suite including baths. We've combined four suites to boast 4000sq. ft. of nostalgia living updated for contemporary taste and can sleep 1 to 20. The suites are great for families and friends or you can size them down to accommodate a party of 1 to 6, 8, or 10 . We cater to the business travelers, medical personnel on assignment, legal teams trying cases on the island or you. Hattie's Place, Too is great for one whom desires a little southern comfort while away from home for business or vacation. We can accommodate 1 to 18 people within our property. Since we have 4 entertainment sleeping parlors too! Hattie's Place, Too is perfect for family reunions too as the entire 4000 sq. ft of vintage home is available for lease. The pricing above is for the enitre property. To lease individual suites, call for rates as the suites can sleep up to 4.
Imagine relaxing in vintage living with a flat screen wall mounted T.V and DVD surround sound in some of the suites which also features HBO cable. Internet Wi-Fi through out the complex, gorgeous decor with queen bedrooms, and complete entertainment sleeping parlors which accommodates additionals guest. The Vintage baths our hallmark in all units as the original Claw-foot tubs are now fully restored, color coded and provides the allure which keeps our guest coming back!
Cook up a great meal in our Country Island Chic kitchens fully equipped for the novice or gourmet cook in the house. The hardwood floors are incredible and the color coordination of the walls in each apartment is peacefully and romantic. Our vintage cottage home also offers two stackable washers and dryers for your convenience. You'll enjoy the large back yard with our dusk to dawn lighting as the complex is located on a corner lot. Our cottage neighborhood is safe, quiet, and mature.
Hattie's Place, Too is located behind Joe's Crab Shack. Just a quick stroll to Galveston's world renown seawall and beaches. Blocks to many of Galveston's main attractions like Fireworks exhibits, Historic Museums and Libraries, and even to Galveston's future Boardwalk! We can coordinate almost everything you require, just ask! From limousine service, to great seats at the 1894 Grand Opera House, to Concierg Services. My lease agreement (with my name only) states that 2 adults can occupy the unit, yet this landlord has threatened to evict me if I allow my friend who is currently experiencing a hardship move in even temporarily. This is not a sublet, and according to my lease I have every right to do so. She has, however, threatened to evict me if I don't pay an additional $200 per month for my friend to stay here. She has also assured me that she will exercise her right to "inspect" the unit as frequently as she sees fit without notice.

My 30th reunion with my sorority sisters was wonderful, thanks to Hattie's Place. We were thoroughly pleased and comfortable as each of the four units provided private accommodations - bedroom, TV, den, bath and full kitchen. The decor in each unit was unique, offering various themes. The neighborhood is nice, quite and safe. We were within walking distance of the beach and convenience stores. Everything we could ask for was right at our finger tips. Hattie's Place offers the comfort of a home instead of a hotel. At the conclusion of our stay, I truly felt rested and relaxed, even though we stayed up late into the night reminiscing about our time at Univ. of N. Texas. I would recommend Hattie's Place to anyone visiting and/or vacationing in Galveston. Two thumbs up!! I would most definitely return.
Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.
