Write a review This house is a bit removed from the action on Galveston Island, which we really enjoyed...it created a very relaxed environment and made our vacation a true vacation! The house itself is amazing, perfect size for 6 adults and 2 small children. Very well kept and is just a short walk to the beach. We went out to eat ONCE the entire time we were there, a trip to the local Kroger (15-20 miles away) and we were diner/grilling out with a beautiful view every night! The house was far beyond our expectations - we had a wonderful time, and surely hope to rent the house again! Thanks to Ron and Tricia! We had a mini-family reunion at this house and as previous reviewers mentioned, it is everything you would expect and more. A wonderful house for spending time at the beach, especially if you are planning to do your own cooking. Everything you could need is supplied and more than likely you will be surprised at the quality of the house and furnishings. Won't even try to find another place for our next beach outing. This house is the one. Wonderful memories were created at this lovely home by the seashore. We were pleasantly surprised with your beach house. It was very accommodating for three families of small children. We all were very pleased and can't wait to stay again soon! The Bonner's Frisco, Tx This is a beautiful home. It is immaculate and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a beach vacaction. The owner thought of everything. It is located in a quiet beach neighborhood, just a short walk to the beach and to the neighborhood pool. The home has beach chairs, towels, toys, bicycles, gas grill, dvd's, books, and every appliance needed in the kitchen. The bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious and spotless. My husband and I are very pleased with our decision to rent this home. It far exceeded our expectations. It was large enough for us to spend a week vacationing with extended family (nine people total) and each family had their own bedroom and bathroom. Well worth every penny! I was very particular about the beach house we would rent for our family vacation, which included our 2 sons, their wives and children. I wanted everyone to have a private space with plenty of bathrooms and a large gathering place - not to mention, clean, easy beach access, and plenty of windows. This home was absolutely perfect for us. It was so clean we could have eaten off the floors. The owners were so gracious and hospitable. We had such a good time that we didn't want to leave. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach was clean and safe with no driving allowed. I hope this house is still available for our next family beach vacation. We had two families that met here for several days. Even with six kids running around there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy our surroundings. We were on the beach in a short walking minute or fishing off a pier in just a five minute drive. The whole experience is what lifetime memories are made from. We stayed in this beautiful brand new home for 4 nights with our daughter & her family - what an idyllic retreat! Everything we needed was there-we only had to bring the food,& even that was there in case we forgot anything! 2 huge master bedrooms each with private balcony, 1 with bay views & 1 with gulf views. Beach chairs, even a portable tent-perfect for protection for our granddaughter; bikes, toys, DVDs, books, etc. Lovely pools, also perfect for a family getaway! Most appealing to us was how quiet it was. Also, everything being brand new, we felt like we were staying in a 5 star resort, the owners truly thought of everything to ensure our comfort- nothing was overlooked. Even all the furniture is brand new, not just cast-offs like we've had in some other places we've stayed. We will definitely be returning next year for our annual family beach vacation! We had the opportunity to stay over a long weekend in this home and we had a fabulous time! The location is wonderful - we had the beach to ourselves for Thursday and Friday, and then a nice amount of people over the weekend. The home is so clean and spacious, it truly is a home away from home. We made several meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils you could ever need. We had our baby with us and they even had a monitor for us to use! The 2 master bedrooms is a great feature, that way 2 couples can be nicely accomodated. The balconies are wonderful, especially with it being in such a private location, it's nice to just sit outside in the quiet and enjoy the salty air. We truly felt so at home and enjoyed every moment of our vacation! I can't think of anything else we could have wanted in a vacation rental. This rental is a beautiful and charming house located a few yards from the beach. In fact, there's a clear view of the beach from the house. It's clean, with many personal touches. It's home away from home!
