Write a review The beach house is in a perfect location great place to relax. We got married in galveston and had our reception here everyone loved the home. The sunset and the sunrise was great. The view was outstanding, the deck was very spacious. You could feel the home sway very little which didn't bother us. The inside of the home was very roomy, the bed rooms were big enough. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. We had to cross the street to go to the beach which was no problem at all. The owner she was very nice and pleasent to talk to. I will rent this home again. The house was in a great location very easy to fine. The outside was very nice and roomy. The BBQ pit needs to be replaced. The home it self was clean. I highly recommend this home to anyone. Thank you so much Annick . We had a really nice time and the house itself was great. The only complaint we had, was it is across a major street, not a neighborhood street as we thought. But, the Beach area is nice and quiet and cars can't drive on it, so it made up for it. We had a great time!! The house was very nice and the view of the beach was great. We are looking forward to going back again next year. I needed a relaxing weekend with no worries and that is exactly what I got while spending it at this house. I love how there is nothing blocking my view to the beach. I could just cross the street and be on the beach! The deck was so big!! I have no complaints of this place. I also liked how the house was stocked with supplies! I was not sure if it was going to be- but the stuff I needed ended up being there already!! Hopefully this house will be available for future relaxing weekends!!!!! I recommend others to stay here!!! Very nice house, very easy to find. Wonderful location, just across the street from beach. Excellent view from front deck, with beautiful Sunsets and sunrises. Will definitely return again, and will definitely recommend to friends and family We were scheduled to be at this property the week after Hurricane Ike blew through. Of course, our vacation didn't happen, and Galveston was so badly damaged. But the house survived, and the owner immediately said she'd refund our money, and that she'd restore the house and keep in touch. Her upbeat attitude was encouraging! This house was perfect for my children, grandchildren and I. It was clean, cheerful and roomy with a great view. The deck was great for sitting and watching the ocean. It is very convenient to the beach just across the street. The beach was never crowded. We all wished we could have stayed longer. The house was very nice,no doubt about that.Sitting on the deck with the wind blowing such a welcoming breeze was something we rarely experience.We don't get that too often, especially not this time of the year in our area.It was a real treat. A couple of things that I think would benefeit the customer are (1)Turn the A/C unit on the day before the customer arrives. It took a long time for the house to cool down.We bought ice cream and it went to waste because the freezer wasn't working right.The fridge part wasn't cooling,so we had to put the milk in the freezer just to keep it cool.Finally we just bought ice and put the rest in ice chests.(2)When the winds are as strong as they were when we stayed,the power went out a handful of times each day we were there,that did not help with the fridge.So when you're sitting on the couch or the toilet and you feel it moving,it's the wind.I wish that I could say it was perfect but a fridge and electricity are something we take forgranted. This beachhouse is a great place to stay. The house is a nice size, VERY clean and orderly, and right next to the beach. We had a great time at the beachhouse. The only criticisms we had are mechanical. The grill was rusted apart and the ice maker was broken. Overall, this beachhouse was great!
