We had a great time at Life is Good. Our large family of 11+ babies had enough room to feel comfortable. The house is about a 15min. drive away from downtown Galveston, which we actually enjoyed. It was a quiet neighborhood. Fishing was a short minute's drive away with a private fishing dock and the ocean was across the street (pretty much). You do have to cross a somewhat busy road to get to beach, but it is completely do-able. My husband and I did it everyday with a 5yr old and carrying a 10month old. The house is very accommodating, but I would suggest bringing extra plates, like paper plates perhaps. And maybe some extra bowls. There weren't very many there of those items. The owner is a joy to work with; very helpful, resourceful, and understanding of particular situations. Also, the house and kitchen were stocked with more than what we even anticipated. Great time!!!

We loved this house. It is super cute and very close to the beach. We walked on the street and crossed at the light to get over, and it maybe took 3-4 minutes. (You could also cut through some grassy areas to shorten the time.) The house is very spacious, and even though the living room is a little small, the open kitchen with bar stools and kitchen table is right there opening up into one big room. The owners are great to work with too. I highly recommend this house!

I recently stayed at this property with my husband, two kids and my parents (6 total). We had more than enough room and were able to not only enjoy the house, but the beach and other area attractions. It is a great location, quiet and each to access all parts of Galveston. A great place to stay, I would stay there again if we go back to that area.

Our family stayed at this house for a week and had a wonderful time! The house has everything you need to make your vacation comfortable and relaxing. The community has a swimming pool and a fishing pier that the kids really enjoyed. The beach access is very close, and it was not overcrowded during our stay. The owner and property manager were great to work with as well. We'll definitely be coming back again!

House is clean. Owner is very attentive. The beach is close and within walking distant to the beach...but you have to cross a busy road.

We had a great time at this house! There were 8 of us total and we had plenty of room! The only con was ants... after the first night we realized there were ants in the living room, kitchen bar, and the bunk bed room. We sprayed Raid and washed sheets and they weren't as bad. Besides that we had a great time!!

This house is located just across the street from the beach and only a few blocks from the canal. Great neighborhood, really enjoyed riding around on the "rented" golf cart. Very family friendly.

Our stay at the beach was awesome, we were close enough to enjoy the beach each morning and then drive into town for some great restaurants and scenery. Only downfall, wish we had more time to stay! Enjoyed it and plan to come again next summer! Owner is so very nice and easy to work with. Stay here for a great getaway!

Our family of 10 rented this home last week 7/6-7/13 and it was awesome. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. Compared to where we stayed last year...SPEECHLESS! The weather was not so great but due to the layout of the house and the space we had it did not ruin our vacation and time together one bit. Because we had an infant we had to bring a pack and play and there was plenty of space in the bedrooms to set it up and it be out of the way. The deck and sitting area below was enjoyable with the wooden swing and BBQ pits. The shower to rinse off in was not only good for getting the sand off us but allowed us to shower the 4yr old & 3 yr old together. They thought that was cool! Everyone in the neighborhood that we crossed paths with was very nice and the kids enjoyed the "movie under the stars" at the marina in the neighborhood. Something else they thought was "cool" Thank you to Jada for making the process easy and to anyone else on your staff that helped get the house ready for us. We will definetly be repeat renters and can't wait to return. Kind Regards, Jenny

This was a last minute vacation. The house had everything we needed. We really liked the pier to the bay and the bait shop in the neighborhood and across the street was the beach.

This house is perfect for families and folks of all ages. We take our kids and grandkids every year. It has everything that we need to keep everybody happy and comfortable. A large kitchen and counter area that has plenty of room for 3 or 4 people to work in it. Also, a good sized eating area. We love the downstairs shower for rinsing off our little beach bums. We just walk to the beach. My favorite is to sit on the deck and listen to the waves. It is so peaceful. I love this house and have recommended it to friends. It is a grade above most beach house rentals. I don't think that you can find anything nicer.

House was nice, clean and functional. It was smaller than expected, about 1000 - 1200 sq ft, definitely too small for 6 adults and 4 kids, especially when we were all cooped up in the house due to weather. Air in the house was difficult to regulate, cold and hot air pockets throughout the house. We couldn't get comfortable! Temperature wouldn't go lower than 75F. It was quite cold when we were there so it wasn't a big problem, but I wouldn't want to rent it in summer! House was closed to street, which made the distance to the beach shorter, thus walkable. Usually, I do not care about other amenities in the house such as TVs but again, we were cooped up because of the cold front. Small, old TVs, nothing like the flat screens I'm used to. :-) House could use some more (decent) pots and pans & utentils, but I'm just picky on kitchen stuffs. I was asked to wash all the linens before departure, which was a chore to me. I don't want to "work" when I'm on vacation, but that might be just me! :) Overall, I don't think I would rent this house again.

The house was beautiful. We had a wonderful family get away here. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen is very large which is fabulous because thats where everyone always gravitates towards. The rooms are very spacious and offer plenty of room for a large group like ours was. I've stayed at many beach houses and overall this has been my favorite. I would definately stay here again and recommend it to others.

Our family (10 of us) spent the weekend in Galveston and were fortunate enough to find this wonderful beach house. We were all extremely pleased with the accommodations! There was plenty of room for all us and we all had a bed to sleep in. The house was exceptionally clean, and the decor was fresh. We visit Galveston frequently, and will definitely be renting this house again.
