Description of the Galveston vacation home rental
This is a very private location--great for a ROMANTIC GETAWAY, just to RELAX or to have FAMILY FUN. This secluded beauty is one of two houses located on a very large and uniquely private piece of land. Only the grass in the yard and the dunes separate you from the beach. There is a deck, which is available to renters, on the main 2nd story that is so massive it is almost as big as the house (I'm not kidding) you will have plenty of room to lounge around and take in the sun and warm ocean breezes. You can relax in one of two comfy hammocks. For your convenience there is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water--Great after a sandy day at the beach. Ocean's Twelve is our family home, so you will find all you need to have a "Wonderful time in Galveston". During the Summer the beach is cleaned daily. Sorry, we are unable to accommodate events, parties, weddings, or receptions.
You are only minutes from the new Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens, and The Galveston Strand. We would like to share our home with caring, thoughtful friends and families.

Beautiful property, mostly enjoyable stay

The owner was conscientious and cared for their guests as much as they cared for their property. The home was beautiful and had even more amenities than expected . . . Great for a large family. The property is only a short walk to the beach. The only challenge we had were heavy mosquitos around the property. If this is addressed, the experience will exceed expectations, in my opinion.

This was a pleasant surprise. The home was very comfortable, plenty of room for four adult women. The deck added extra room and great viewing of the ocean which was only 100 yards away. Our girl's weekend was a roaring success. We're hoping to return.

We had a thoroghly enjoyable time at Ocean's Twelve. The house is simply gorgeous. Even though it's located just foot steps away from the beach, we spent a lot of our time relaxing on the beautiful deck...enjoying the ocean breeze, playing card games, listening to music, having engaging conversations, and comparing grandchildren stories! Looking out on the calming ocean and the vast blue sky every morning gave us a greater appreciation of God's awesome creation. Linda, the owner, is very personable and accomodating. We certainly plan to share our experience with family and friends.

The house was located in a beautiful and private area on west end of island, but not too far out. It was comfortably furnished, bright and cheery, well-appointed, maintained and almost immaculately clean. It was a sheer pleasure to stay there, even though the sun wakes the east bedroom early - making sure the sunrise isn't missed, either from the large deck or through the wall of windows in the cozy living area .... We probably will not stay anywhere else on return trips to Galveston....

Everything was PERFECT. I would recommend this beach house to anyone.The owner gave us a price break; being that we did not arrive until the 5th. We did miss 2 things,however. A programmable coffeepot.I love waking up in the morning and the coffee is waiting for me! I cannot tell a lie. We missed our WIFI !!!! Even on vacation. Our owner was very friendly and the house is beautiful. Comfy and cozy. Lots of seating areas. Beds are wonderful.The view spectacular. Perfect.

Exceptional home

My husband and I booked a quick weekend getaway at Ocean's Twelve and even though the weather wasn't that great, the house certainly was! Open and full of sun (when it was shining), with lots of comfy couches to curl up in (when it was raining). The owner is fabulous - left us lots of menus and we highly recommend the Sunflower Bakery! House is perfectly located between the hustle and bustle of the Galveston strip (so not interested in that!) and Jamaica Beach. In a very secluded area, next to a now-closed park, so you almost feel as if you have the beach to yourself. But close enough to town to pop in for a quick meal. We routinely rent beach homes all over the U.S. and this one was one of the best -- the owner keeps her kitchen stocked with the essentials, which is so convenient! The decor is impeccable -- five plus stars for this wonderful beachfront rental!

This a great place to take the family or significant other and enjoy peace and quiet. The lovely, warm home is equipped with everything you will need and is on a gorgeous part of the beach! The owner was wonderful and we received our security deposit once we left in a flash!

We fell in love with the sea blue decor and arrangement of the living room/kitchen/dining room open concept. All beds are comfortable and there's plenty of space to be by yourself or have a family time in front of the tv or playing games. Great sunrise view over the water.
