Description of the Galveston vacation home rental

This cozy canal home is your perfect home away from home!! Located on the West end of Galveston in the community of Sea Isle, close enough to the wonderful amenities that Galveston has to offer, but far enough away to relax!! Enjoy fishing right from the lower deck with the underwater fighing lights that attract a variety of fish.

"Reel Relaxing" can accommodate up to six adults. The master bedroom has a queen bed, Directv DVR TV and private bath with shower. The second bedroom has both a double bed and queen bed. There is a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Wood floors and ceramic tile throughout the house, central air & heat, washer and dryer located upstairs.

A fully functional kitchen with upgraded appliances - oven/stove, microwave, dishes, and cooking utensils for your use. Directv DVR TV, DVD, and playstation in living room. We also have a toddler bed, playpen, and stroller for your families use. All linens provided - including beach towels.

We have a BBQ grill, granite bar area, plenty of chairs and a wonderful fire pit to enjoy!! Bring your friends and family and have a relaxing getaway in paradise!!

Galveston Island is only a short fifteen minute drive away - and offers wonderful dining, activities for the whole family, shopping, and much more...

The neighborhood of Sea Isle offers a bar/grill, lighted fishing pier, a boat ramp, and a marina for purchasing live bait. The bay is a few blocks over and the beach is only a short distance away. Fishing is a delight in this part of the world. There is also a neighborhood pool, park, and beach location for your use.

We loved your placed and it truly exceeded our expectations!! The home was very clean and it was very well supplied with lots of extras, linens, towels, beach towels, and a well equipped kitchen. My favorite area was the downstairs area, which was truly relaxing. I have already ordered an EZ swing for my home!! Loved the bar area and perfect to entertain and grill outside. We will definitely return, it is a perfect locations since we have friends close by. Thanks for sharing your home!!

Reel Relaxing is a perfect name

We only stayed for 3 days but wished we would have been able to stay for 10. What a great place. Felt like home. Everything you could ever want in a place. Great ammenities, especially downstairs in the bar area. So many extras you can't even mention them all. Recommended to anyone that just wants a place to relax and enjoy the outdoor balcony spaces and feel like you are in your own home. Loved the green light effect at night (a surprise effect that I don't want to spoil for the next visitors). Should we ever return to Galveston we will definitely come back to this home and stay longer.

Most enjoyable time

I am prejudiced I know because we were visiting the owners our grandchildren and the great grand girls, but must tell you we had such a great time. Teddy has been working for a month and a half on a project of his and he had a relaxing time with the two grandsons fishing. I on the other hand had fun with the girls going to the beach watching them pick up shells. Thank you so much for the lovely time.

The house is perfect for relaxing. It was very clean and comfortable. Downstairs there is a bar with television, ice maker, restroom, firepit w/ gas logs, large grill, rocking chairs and very comfy hanging chairs perfect for a nap. You have everything you need. This is where we spent every evening. There is a restaurant and bar located in the neighborhood if you rent the golf cart you never have to get back in your car until time to leave. We had a great seafood dinner in the restaurant and listened to live music in the bar right there in the neighborhood. I can’t wait for our next getaway.

Everything about the house/location is perfect. Kelley and Daniel thought of everything possible to accommodate the families that have chosen to make memories here. My friends and family joined my husband and I on saturday for fishing and eating. Everyone loved it and enjoyed every minute of being here. The house is clean and cozy. Beautiful - absolutely beautiful.

We rented this house for a college grad present for our daughter(SHSU) We docked the boat once and kept it in the boat hse each evening , used the marina to get our bait each morning, the house is clean cool and the bar downstairs with the ice machine and bbq pit and the table & fire pit are great to hang out.There was a great breeze each evening after we came in from the bay. We went into galveston one nite to eat at Gaidos . We also fished at nite in the canal, the upper deck is also great we watched a big thunderstorm go accross the sky and it was magnificient view. did not want to go home.

What a gem!

This is truly a fabulous place to stay for easy access to bay fishing and the beach. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated how kid-friendly everything was! The outdoor living space is amazing! Our boys caught redfish right out of the canal we were on. "Reel Relaxing" is the perfect name. For such fabulous amenties and reasonable price, I can't believe we were looking at hotels - they cannot compete with this place!
