Description of the Galveston vacation home rental

Newly remodeled two story home (3 bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs, remainder of living area and master bedroom upstairs) with all of the amenities. Granite counter tops and stainless appliances. 3 Flat Screen TVs with cable. WiFi. Covered porch and sun porch. 300 yards from beach. Jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower. Large yard for children to play. Right by State Park. Walk to restaurants, stores and churches. Golf cart rental available.

Up to 2 dogs permitted with pet fee.( fenced dog run )

Please help me say "yes" to your request to stay in my home by first taking some time to fill out the message box with a brief reason for your stay and description of guests (family, friends etc.). As a potential host, I want to get a feel for who is asking to have access to my home when I'm not there, so I'm looking for reasons to trust you. An empty, brief, or vague message doesn't do that. Thanks!

Located in beautiful Jamaica Beach in the West End of Galveston Island. State Park is next door. 20 minutes from Strand. 10 minutes from Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. Restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Walk to bay or ocean.

Very family and pet friendly!

We stayed here with our family and a pet for a week and then ended up adding another day. The house was a perfect size. The only bummer is that the washer and dryer are not available for use and the laundymats close at 8! Just something to consider. Also, linens and towels are provided but if you're a bit picky like me you may want to bring rugs for the bed and shower. The floors are tiled so it can be a bit cool on your feet. The beach is just across the road with a fully stocked convenience store on the way. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great weekend!

My husband and I stayed with 3 other couples for his 40th birthday weekend. We decided last minute to spend the weekend in Glaveston and Heidi was very easy to work with despite such short notice. The house was as described and it is a 5 minute walk to the beach. For being a pet friendly home I was impressed that there was absolutely no pet smell. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owner is easy to communicate with and we would reccomend to others.

Lovely vacation!

Went on our annual family vacation and this is the first time we chose a beach house. Perfect setting for a family. The upstairs was beautiful and spacious. The downstairs was smaller and we mainly only slept there, but we enjoyed it. Loved the outdoor balcony set up. We probably spent most of our time there. Beach was only a 5 minute walk away. Owner was professional and easy to communicate with. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Great Experience

My family really enjoyed our vacation stay. The home was as advertised: kitchen was fully remodeled and we had plenty of room for the five of us to stretch out and relax. The only reason I'm not rating five stars is there wasn't a washer and dryer available for us to use which when staying five nights was inconvenient. Other than that, we'll definitely consider coming back again.

We had a blast. The house was wonderful. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch drinking our coffee. It was very clean and very spacious. Within walking distance to the beach. We will definately rent again from Heidi.

This is the best beach house. I came here with my husband and baby daughter. We walked to and played at the beach, ate at the local restaurant and hung out enjoying the fresh ocean breezes on the porch. My husband went deep sea fishing and came back with a big catch, which we grilled for dinner. Yummo. You will love staying here!
