Mermaids Historical Tales was built in the year 1907 and is re-furnished in the year 2010. It’s about 2200sq ft designed for complete entertainment, style and comfort. Mermaid offers giant chef’s kitchen along with 2” mahogany counter tops hard woods floorings and under water backsplash murals. Plenty of windows along with high ceilings settled in show place. Furnished king sized bed in Captains Quarters, situated down stairs with full sized bath. Up-stairs are 3bedrooms along with sleeping for 8people. House is ideal for families coming with children, over 12 else mature adults which like to have great time.

Relax outside and listen to the pleasant sounds of waves from beach or the cruise ships horn. Enjoy sipping favorite drink at any of three porches then get up early morning, view the romantic sunsets or leisurely walk at beach. Breathtaking beach is about 4blcoks away and features lots of food, shopping, umbrellas or chairs for rentals. The spot at beach is ideal for watching morning surfers. Staying at this house you are 5 blocks from the beach at 21 and Seawall. Pleasure Pier is at 25th and Seawall. Fast food is at 23 and seawall for cheap eats with the kids or fine dining is also steps away. This house is 7 blocks from the downtown strand area for all day shopping and entertainment. This location is idea for Mardi Gras or Lone Star Rally You will be in the heart of everything. Yet at night when you lay your head down it is away for the night live and very quiet.
You can hear the cruise ships honking as you lay in bed in the morning or at 5 pm before they pull away.
If you can fit in service at the church, don't miss it.
You will be located in the historical part of Galveston where the houses of worship were built by immagrents paying for their passage from Europe in the 1800"s.. The wood work and stain glass is unforgetable.
