Description of the Galveston vacation home rental
I have a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Historical Island Cottage that you can rent out entirely to yourselves. I can meet you to check you in and show you around and then I will be staying less than 30 mins away if you have any questions or need anything at all during your vacation.
The entire home is decorated in a tropical island theme and is extremely welcoming! The Master suite has a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and double headed shower! One of the guest rooms has a queen bed and is decorated in a palm theme while the other room has a queen size wooden futon with a very thick and comfortable mattress. You have use of the whole home, large back deck with 4 burner propane BBQ, front porch and the rest of the house. Feel free to use the kitchen as long as you clean up after yourself.
Also there is a possibility that my two dogs will still be at the house during that time as I may be living on a boat while you are enjoying your stay at Island Cottage. They are super friendly and stay in the kitchen with a doggie door to the laundry room and back yard. Also if you needed to use the kitchen and didn’t want them around during that time you could always put them outside and shut the doggie door for a short while. They stay in the kitchen and the back door from the kitchen is connect to the outside. If you are a dog friendly family this would work great, although if you are not pet friendly this may not be the right option for you even though the dogs will not be all over the home. Area Information
I'm only about 1 mile from the beach for surfing, tanning, swimming and fun in the sun! Plus I'm 2.5 miles from the historic "down town" Strand area. Also the house is less than 4 miles from multiple harbors and boat ramps if you want to sail on Galveston Bay! Stay at my house to make your Galveston Island vacation affordable. Island Cottage

We had a pleasant stay; clean accommodations; There were 5 adults, one child. LOVED the master bathroom! Beds were comfy after a hard day of play. Having a electronic key entry was great! When our party went separate ways, we still had access to the cottage without having to keep track of a key. Thank you for the island guide and reviews. We will be back, because we didn't have time to do everything! Jeanna would call and check to see if everything was going well...great host.

Weekend at the Beach

The house was very nice and clean, big back deck is great for grilling. Great location, close to the Strand, pleasure pier and a short drive to the beach. Vacationing at a house it much better than the crowded hotels we have used in the past.

A:Any agreed upon time. I will work with your schedule?
Q:How do I get the key from you?
A:You will not need a key. i have coded door entry and will give you the code for that weekend before you arrive.
Q:Can I bring my dog?
A:Yes, but there is a refundable $250 pet deposit. Also I do not allow pets on the furniture. Thank you for respecting this rule.
